looking forward to seeing fresh khaofirst content on my screen againnnnnnn! i so hope they get majority of screen time cos at least they'll know what to do with it haha
i enjoyed the characters way more than the storyline tbh, especially since the first 5 eps dragged onnnnnnn - like we get it, Ji doesn't wanna get with Achi for some reason...that time should have been used on the 2nd couple or even for the hinted 3rd couple!
i enjoyed the few medical procedures and scenes with the trio of doctors, and i found that Ji's character as a softy who was cynical and catty was fun to watch. In fact, i liked everybody's character except for Achi once he became a superstar. He had no depth other than his connection to Ji...he was more interesting in the flashbacks!!
that quick lil ending montage was one of the best things about the show and i wish they extended it to make the entire final episode about it but oh well
Seo heon's bro really annoyed me too with the fact that he started flirting with Taejoon & when he finally reciprocated,…
his characterisation was terrible because it didnt seem like he had any remorse about what unfolded either...the character writing was just terrible overall
I feel like the romance part ruined it somewhat. It would have been enjoyable and much better if just all 3 of…
exactly!! i ended up watching medical examiner dr qin a while after finishing this show and i found it executed a trio lead PERFECTLY with an independent female lead and two male leads who have great chemistry and respect for her
really made the trio dynamic in psych hunter look like trash haha
did nawwt vibe with this!! thematically its similar to Kids on the Slope and Given but way worse than both. It didn't feel committed to the jazz aspect, since all the background music was generic pop (like at least have a jazzy soundtrack!) but it also didn't truly commit to expressing the trauma associated with losing a loved one and diverting it in music
the romance was ASS - not only did it give both couples the toxic treatment you'd see in 2018 BLs, but it felt like there was no effort in their development. there was no gradual warming up to each other, no slowly realising you like the other person - none of that!! just straight to jealousy, then straight to 'love', then back to hate, then back to love etc etc. I'm still not convinced tae yi even likes seo heon
only thing i enjoyed was taejoon (fuck seo heon's bro he's a dick too) and the cute friendship between seheon and do yoon....
this is the type of story i like with mature storylines and characters but trying to fit it all within 6x 20min episodes really limited it...would have preferred 10 eps, that would have allowed for pacing and development to be proper fleshed out
other than the story being way too big for its size, it was a cute, simple watch - character dynamics were my fave bit about it
love the way Miyata struts when he walks tho haha he really walks like a man on a mission
Both leads are equals, intelligent and complement each other. I can't believe we actually have LJS teasing RNZ…
even in the first few eps when RNZ would be like, "You want to know? then beg me" while giving bedroom eyes i was like wooooaahhhh how did they get away with thiissssssss! love their banter
well this has now become my longest series watched on mdl and i enjoyed every minute of it!! the chemistry between the leads is insane and the characters are all loveable! i love that both leads were smart asf, their teamwork was real satisfying to watch! the ending could have been tied up better but oh well, i think I'll read the novel to fill the gaps
loved, loved, looooved it and i am glad it is coming back to stream! not surprised it was taken down tho them two were eyeing eachother up like candy!
seen 14 eps so far and woow, the lead characters are SO likeable and the eps are really digestible - don't be afraid of the episode count, time really flies when watching it! that's how you know you've got a banger of a show

as for the thai adaptation, one of the leads is like 27 while the other is 16...........given the content, im gonna give it a HARD PASS
