Very interesting story with a new idea. I even tried to google the chromosomal abnormality, wondering if such…
im guessing its 46, XY intersex with undervirilisation that was then corrected via gender affirmation surgery and hormone replacement therapy - you'll be surprised at how many chromosomal disorders exist, it really does throw out the idea that gender and sex is limited to just male n female
the first 3 eps really do drag along but i feel like it sets up the plot twist nicely tbh - the eps do pick up afterwards and the chemistry is sooooo cuuuuuteeeeeeeee so its worth sticking around !!
i defs recommend people to watch it, u just need to get over the slow start to experience a unique story that is so sweet and quite progressive
this was such a good remake imo! its quite a bit longer than the original but then again in the original, our silly little main character has bareellyyyy any character development and stays (charmingly) annoying from start to finish whereas at least he gets some major character development in this version and matures a lil bit by the end
i like to imagine that Tin is making all those faces, exaggerated movements and is talking to himself in his head while looking normal on the outside - kinda like the style in Fleabag hahahah it makes it a lot more entertaining and less 2nd hand embarrassment
this show was so well-rounded and i love how everything came full circle for most of the characters. chen chou's…
i sympathise with shulin tho his whole life was ruined and all he wanted was validation that they did in fact fuck up with him...if only he had targeted the empress's reputation rather than trying to get her to admit her guilt bc she's still queen and nothing came of it - poor guy
this show was so well-rounded and i love how everything came full circle for most of the characters. chen chou's character was so lively and cute while mowen was an absolute chad friend - i love it when the main characters have ride or die friends and i love it even more when those friends become friends by the end like xu dong and chen chou lmao
overall it was a banger and i highly recommend it if u like friendship, politics and mystery
its a nice, simple and predictable show but its really cute n soft! and the main leads' chemistry makes the best-friends-to-lovers concept feel natural ! the lack of any major complications makes it a bit easy to forget but not everything has to be a 'do or die' situation yaknow - just accept it as a cute romance and enjoy
oooooo she did that ! this film was so sick! the action scenes at the beginning remind me of john wick, then the middle part reminds me of Michelle Yeoh's reign of assassins and then the last portion straight up turns into kill bill - like woooooowwww a great film for action lovers
also fun fact! the motorbike sword fight scene in this film was the inspiration for a similar scene in john wick 3!
the concept is really cool and the show was pretty nice overall but i felt that the episodes near the end were generally messy and weren't as well executed or explained as they could have been. would have loved to see more lore of the soul reapers too as well as a proper storyline for keetha since he had the best acting out of the bunch anyways
i will say tho that karn with that slick back hair and black fit looks fine as hell goddamn
this show actually surprised me in a good way! i thought it would be a cheesy romance of just 4 dudes chasing after 1 dude (and it kinda is still lmao) but the fact that most of the story develops each suitor with a final reveal of why they did what they did, it became more substantial and wayyy more enjoyable to watch.
i liked the fact that they didnt make theo a super delicate character - like he boxes and is not completely oblivious about shit and i loved that if he was feeling uncomfortable in a situation, he straight up removed himself. i enjoyed watching him & akk do their lil thing until the final 2 episodes, where theo just completely changes and pisses the viewers off. i like impactful, solid endings and tho cuteeeee, it aint what i wanted to see...akk was the man tho...like bro was perfect
absolutely love shows that are more plot-oriented rather than romance-oriented, especially with a concept like THIS! the social commentary alone makes this show an amazing watch with the story, chemistry and characters becoming lovely bonuses
if they made a sequel movie/show about black and his (romantic) endeavours that take place after, i would be the first to watch - his character was so goddamn complex in the best way possible!
gun deserves his flowers for acting the shit out of black n white like wooow
everything about this movie was great: action, cast, production etc. but what i felt brought down the film was how undeveloped the plot was. like the movie was long as it is but it felt like they still skipped out on stuff like the duo's friendship and backstory....my solution to this? adapt the novel into a series...now that would be a banger
i loved the film nonetheless - it was fresh as fuck and would defs recommend, especially if you like suave dudes in suits fuckin eachother up
first few eps were cute and interesting but it kinda loses steam after you realise they have the emotional maturity of teenagers...like it was cute but had no real substance
cute and wholesome ! and i love how they would include the local animals within the scene, like a random cat or dog walking by, defs adds that extra realistic touch i havent seen in a show before !
i defs recommend people to watch it, u just need to get over the slow start to experience a unique story that is so sweet and quite progressive
