I've never cried as hard as I did while watching this...it was so unbelievably good and boy am i a sucker for found family and cold --> warm character development tropes.
i do wish the ending had been between the uncle and Geuru but i guess they opted to hint at a continuing season instead, and for that, i cant complain too much!
The idea of Nanno and what she does is such a unique concept and the show executes it really well! I prefer it…
My personal ranking of the episodes: The Ugly Truth Social Love BFF pt 1 BFF pt 2 Apologies Hi-So Lost and Found Wonderwall pt 2 Thank You Teacher Wonderwall pt 1 Trap Rank Trophy
The idea of Nanno and what she does is such a unique concept and the show executes it really well! I prefer it when she targets adults rather than teenagers but she holds everybody accountable no matter who they are, which i looooved.
hope we see more of the ruthless side of Nanno in s2 !
Episode 6 was such an impactful episode wooow...Bas and Marco played their roles so well and I hope season 2 focusses more on them, whether it be a friendship or something more..
This show really picked up towards the end and that ending was a perfect set-up for the upcoming movie coming out later. The intros were really cool and unique and the main leads did a great job as their characters! I want moreeee
Is there any politic struggle or corruption in this?
not necessarily any political struggle but there is some slight corruption towards the end, but both are quite minor. I'd say that they are used as context to the story rather than being present in the story.
Can someone spoil it how much cheating, who cheats on who,and who is "in the wrong", and is it a happy ending…
ok so there's 3 siblings and 1 friend called Vee who's in love with one of the siblings named Dong. Through manipulation, foul play and blackmailing, Vee ends up sleeping with all 3 siblings. Vee and Dong talk it out and seem good again but the ending is a major plot twist that is a cliff-hanger for season 2. I'd say it's Dong's siblings who are in the wrong for sure
Wow, this was a surprising story full of spells, lust and manipulation. I think it's great that BLs are incorporating broader genres and that this show can be a stepping stone for future shows to include magic n stuff. I'm keen for S2!
Some great internal monologue about how we often create versions of ourselves just to appease other's expectations! Was surprisingly deep and profound when it needed to be but was otherwise lighthearted and fun!
I'm convinced that if Japan didn't have such strict drug laws, Kusano was supposed to be a stoner lmfaoooooo
I really liked this movie and it's unique layout, I thought it matched the main character's story quite well since it's a known phenomenon that traumatised people will sometimes doubt their own memory out of shock and denial (hence the 3 versions), which I think Martin was subconsciously doing until he finally talked it out with his friend (bless him, what a supportive lad) and realised what happened to him wasn't ok.
For its short duration, this movie was really impactful, especially with the message about not placing your idols on a pedestal.
Elijah's acting was soooooo good, he's definitely a talent.
Woah, I was not expecting that level of emotion and depth from this movie, like I thought this was going to be cute and fluffy but it was cute, fluffy AND an emotional roller coaster! The acting was so good and the plot was realistic and sweeeet. Absolute gem, this is!
This was honestly so therapeutic to watch, especially with our 3 main leads giving us wise words of wisdom every episode. If you're ever feeling down or looking to destress, this is 100% the show to watch
