you're telling me that he couldnt call the police and put in an anonymous tip ?? like brooo i wanna enjoy this but the second hand embarrassment and plot holes are killin meeee
i dont know if this makes sense but this feels like the drama you'd see within a drama...like if you were to watch a drama, the characters would be watching this show on the tv or something - thats the feel i got from the writing, tone and even the character design lmao
i rewatched this after many years and while it definitely is for a mature audience and discusses mature themes, I found it a bit too dull (lighting and cinematography-wise) and boring since we are seeing the story from Kuzumi's perspective but he's kinda a 2D character...we don't really know anything about him, i would much rather prefer to have seen Kijima's perspective in all of this or at least have the storyline broadened
i dunno how to feel abt this one, at first there was lots of potential but there is a noticeable lack of dialogue...the scenes just feel empty? they could have had some really good dialogue by now that pushed the side couple and the main couple's plots forward but they just seem to awkwardly bumble around each other, talking but not saying much at all. Still cute, but it really makes me wanna fast forward through the eps
i would have been a lot more satisfied if Seo Joon froze out Ji Woo a little bit more near the end but ultimately i can understand Ji Woo's mentality in doing what he did - he seems to have survivor's guilt that has given him some self-sabotaging tendencies in his relationship with others.
to be fair, i imagine it would get kinda lonely dating a megastar away from your hometown, especially if you already have issues with isolating yourself from those around you but im glad they could find that balance in the end
Shin's actor is so damn fine but why couldnt they make his ass a uni student to begin with ? 😭 as a 20 yr old, anyone younger than me is literally a child in my eyes LET ALONE A MINOR like thats the only qualm i have with this otherwise cute as hell show
this was so sweeeeeeeeetttt !!!!! a little bittersweet regarding the plot but they came out stronger at the end so all is well :)))) i hope i can have a relationship as sincere and sweet as them in the future😭 they are defs goals
i gotta admit, the first few episodes are quite jarring since you really gotta get used to the laugh track and everybody's VIBRANT personality, especially Diao's, who is a straight up ass at the beginning. Once you do get used to everything though, the show really sparkles !! Diao goes through some major character development and the chemistry between the leads stays sizzling ! I absolutely loved it by the end and am really hoping that they greenlight s2 because when they do, I'll be there !!!
this is sooo gooooood !! the medical terminology with the lil explanation is such a top tier feature ! so many bl's love to have student doctors as their main character but they never incorporate any real med stuff in the dialogue so im glad this one is FULL of it! also Tin is so mfk hawwwttt
the deduction theories were kinda outlandish at times but were entertaining and really unique compared to other police/detective shows ive seen! in fact the entire premise of this show is different and unique, making it enjoyable enough to forget about whether it makes sense or not. I really loved the dynamic between the leads and the whole team in general !! defs give it a go !
shows the sweet beginnings of a teenage relationship without it being invasive, kinda like how it'd be if you found out 2 of your friends were dating, so basically, nothing over the top or dramatic, just...there and existing happily :)
probably shouldn't have watched this while dead tired but it felt anticlimactic, like so much attention was placed on catching the culprit and then they just don't?
this was cute but every time Hira was being Hira i thought of that "y'all be weak in the knees, stand up....STAND UP" clip and every time Kiyoi was being Kiyoi i thought of that one "you don't love me, you love being loved" scene from Euphoria
i gotta say, Sun Ah is one of the coldest villains i've ever seen. An absolute bad bitch in the way she dresses, the way she acts and the way she manipulates. The perfect opposition to our antihero
after finally finishing this after putting it on hold nearly a year ago, i can say it was a breath of fresh air from gmmtv.
however, chief phupha really really pissed me off in episode 8 & 9 and i was completely onboard if they decided to have tian remain single or pair with longtae, like seriously, i would not be as forgiving as tian
