aoba is the perfect example of SPITE being one of the best motivators of all, that boy is a straight up haterrrrrr to his dying breath and i respect that lmaooooo
the fight choreography was probably one of the best i've seen, it was performed and executed sooooo well to the point you forget its not real - loved it!!
loved it! it expands very nicely from the first season, gets you hooked all over again, and then leaves you with a cliff hanger to get you pumped up for the next season!
although its a crime mystery, dont expect the cases to be logical and rational - a lot of the cases get solved through shen yi and his uncanny methods and make even less sense than in the first season lmao, you just kinda have to roll with it
the character dynamics this season are really good! possibly the highlight of the season! looking forward to s3!
honestly i thought this was the perfect representation of high quality trash lmao
like you can tell a lot of work and effort and a decent budget was put into it and honestly, it was a guilty pleasure because of that, but no matter what you do with this kind of story, its gonna end up wack anyways. no fault in the actors or team behind it, its just an ass story to begin with........i would still watch a pt 2 thooooooooo (like i said, its a total guilty pleasure)
its so bad that it becomes entertaining, lets leave it at that
What do you recommened to watch? This or anime version?
the live action would have quite a few limitations because of budget so i would recommend the anime version - it has very beautiful art and the story is much more immersive with its scifi elements
its a cute slice of life but it was pretty uneventful. the cop's lack of personality other than being a nice cop didn't help either - oh well, it was nice to doze off to at least, and i mean that in a complimentary way
maybeeee a movie format might have been a tad better
really good series on competitive sports and the friendships, hardships and aspirations that come with it! i loved the track team, their bond was so wholesome - especially how they supported each other and lifted eachother up when they were down
i do wish the series explored more of the characters and had given them more of a backstory, especially for the coach, tian fu and zi ji - their stories had a lot more potential but felt pretty watered down
highly recommend if you like friendship and sport dramas!
what a cute show!! the chemistry was lovely!! though the overall storyline felt slightly lacking (mainly bc of 25 min per ep), the dynamics and character development made this such a worthwhile watch!
The subplots focussing on the vulnerabilities of the lead characters were absolutely amazing and definitely the highlight, especially shao peng's struggles with his disability. The actor killed the role and portrayed all the emotions so so sooooo well - just his portion of the show alone made this go from your average loveable taiwanese bl to something realllllyy special - loved it! but wish it was longer!
gave it a chance and while it clearly is a very condensed 'adaptation' of kinnporsche, they somehow also made it boring? idk it just didn't hold my attention at all despite it being under 2 mins per ep
actors are decent but the story is ass - its a pass for me
such a cute storyline with a really enjoyable dynamic between the leads! all of the characters are so charming, i really enjoyed it despite its formatting!
this would make an amazing full length series! but i feel that the convenience and high viewership of the reel format means that we will continue to get all these good stories crammed into 50+ vertical 2min vids :(((
this show is as excellent as it is because it presents to the audience an extremely controversial topic and refuses to dilute it with unnecessary tropes and secondary storylines and instead, supplements it with incredible actors playing intelligent characters that each provide you with a new perspective, whether you agree with them or not.
from the very first scene i knew this was gonna be an exceptional show! the romance may have been mild, but i preferred it that way as the focus stays on the story first and foremost, which only emphasises the simmering romantic tension and personal conflict between the two - just absolutely chef's kiss!!!
this will definitely pick up some awards and I sooooooo recommend it if you wanna see some seriously good television that tackles a serious medical dilemma - prolonging life no matter the outcome or taking it away prematurely, but with dignity
the stories were all very nice to watch and the chemistry between the actors is great! i liked all the anthology episodes and the final story revealing it wasn't an anthology at all added a nice lil twist! i wouldn't have minded more episodes with cute n lighthearted stories like the first couple tho
ok so this was fantasticccccc - sky and nani have really solidified themselves as main leads with their acting and chemistry !! i am already so keen to see their future projects!
i love that this show was grimy and didn't sanitise the violence that often comes with teen delinquency and gang violence (tho the fight scenes could have been a bit tighter)
the best part is definitely the development between everybody, especially chadjen and the leads - they killed itttt fr
i was not expecting this to be as wholesome as it was - i was expecting a lot more angst and betrayal but nooopppe just lighthearted antics n cutiepie succulents
its a super easy binge wit the eps only being 20 mins long and the production quality being quite high so i enjoyed it! the chemistry was cute too but some more development would have been nice
i would have loved it if it was longer and there was a more solid hidden agenda or conflicting enemies-to-lovers sort of vibe going on but oh well, it was still a decent watch!
Thank you for the link. Is there a love story between the male lead and female lead, Elmira Yi?
nah, it starts off as a one-sided crush until they become 'bros' and then her tiny crush on him goes unnoticed and she ends up with a side character - they are friends for the entire show
its a nice wholesome show to watch after a long day that doesnt have much angst or seriousness in it, perfect for when you are in the mood for something youthful and lighthearted
i loved the older brother tho, everytime he graced my screen i knew i was gonna be laughing - his scenes rizzing up the cafe owner baddie were my faveeeee
ok so this one is about the twin sister ! I'm fine with that but why did it feel like they wasted soooo much time on everyone but her?? like the first and last 30 mins are very good but everything in between that wasn't about the twin, her new friends or the army chick + her sidekick felt like a massive waste of time that could've been used for more character and story development
overall it had great potential so I'm not sure how they made such an interesting premise as lacklustre as they did but luckily the last portion of the film was worth it action-wise
the fight choreography was probably one of the best i've seen, it was performed and executed sooooo well to the point you forget its not real - loved it!!
this shit was fire, id love to see a 2nd season

oh well, IIRC the show's eps got cut down from 28 to 12 so as a form of objection, the director ended it with a pretty obvious wedding ceremony hahah
i would love it if this story got a proper remake with a higher budget!
