Is she the same, as in as in love and giddy and sweet towards him as he is towards her?
Thank you again, it's hard to know atp because most recent dramas are extremely one sided with the mls carrying the entire rlsps on their backs. Something like It's okay that's love or I hear your voice or Queen and I which were very balanced vs the newer dramas like Filing for love and Love next door, Spirit fingers where the ml is the down bad loser doing 90% of the work and chasing and everything else.
Is she the same, as in as in love and giddy and sweet towards him as he is towards her?
Thanks, everyone is talking about ml and how much of a greenflag he is but I don't enjoy one sided ships where the ml is more in love and does everything. Is that the case here? Because judging by the comments he seems way more into her than she is into him...
i hate those recent drama "Or is it like most recent kdramas ; fl's story and ml is only there to be the greenflag…
I dislike those dramas too, romance to me is two people being in love, not just one. I'll wait for more episodes then since it seems like it could go either way.
This one seems promising, any chance of it being a actual love story i.e focused on both leads and them being just as caring and supportive towards each other? Or is it like most recent kdramas ; fl's story and ml is only there to be the greenflag down bad loser in love.
I literally started this yesterday and somehow I'm already caught up. 😠It's actually so good! The beginning…
Is there a chance in hell this is one of the rare balanced equal otps? Or should I just go back to rewatching older dramas 😂. Per our discussion in the Never ending summer comments you seem to be one of the only people who knows what a mutual otp is and isn't 100% focused on MLs feelings as long as FL doesn't murder him it's considered equal when it's almost always 80-20 if we're being generous.
Thank you, I saw the character dynamics being compared to Love beyond the grave and that's the furthest thing from mutually and equally devoted like 99% of cdramas so I wasn't interested tbh.
I don't mind spoilers but in general just tell me if the ml is as important to the FL as she is to him, is she as devoted and as in love with him as he is with her. Basically an otp like the one from LBFAD vs well... Almost every cdrama but for example are you the one, kunning palace or Till the end of the moon where the ml is obsessed and the you can barely tell if the FL is in love.
Does that RR entail everything that comes with the ML being the dominant one? as in is the FL the protector, the care taker, the one who is giving more in the rlsp like every ML or is it the usual cdrama dynamic with the guy madly in love and the woman with him as number 8928 on her priority list?
I'm thinking of watching this now that it's almost over and can I ask what the otp's like? The usual cdrama romance…
Much appreciated, I need true equality and mutual love to invest in a romance and that's something we almost never get nowadays since it seems almost every romance has the ml obsessed the entire drama and the fl lukewarm at best so it sucks as someone who believes romance is two people as in love and devoted but it is what it is.
He sounds really really in love is it the same for her? I'm thinking about watching now that it's over but I don't…
It's not about the percentage, when almost every drama is much more in love and doing all the work that's not romance to me, that's not love. I doubt most people would think the same and not care how unequal it is if it was the opposite and the FLs were doing almost everything in most dramas while the mls barely lifted a finger. And honestly just saying you don't care about percentages tells me that it's not balanced or equal at all.
"They love each other so much" what does that mean if it's not supported by actions and words for me to believe it, this is a written narrative not random real life, if the ML is madly in love about to drop from exhaustion but still picks up the FL, what is the FL's equivalent action that shows me her love etc? Again if the ML and the FL's roles were reversed in this drama would you have no problem with it and find them as in love as you do now? Would you put as much emphasis on his actions and how much he's doing for her if she was the one waiting and making trips and he was the one doing whatever she's doing which I don't even know because all anyone is talking about is the ML and how in love he is which leads me to believe that it's not equal and that's real love to me especially in fiction.
It's your prerogative if you prefer dynamics where the ML is way more devoted that's the way most people feel but I was asking for me personally because I don't, if it was reversed the FL was doing more I would dislike it just as much, like I said, real love and romance to me is genuine equal devotion not a down bad ML and a FL who gives 15%, just like it wouldn't be a down bad FL and a ML that gives 15%. Lol sorry that got long.
I'm thinking of watching this now that it's almost over so I was wondering what the otp's like? The usual cdrama…
Yeah, LBL the lines was basically the only drama this year that had a balanced dynamic which is kind of crazy considering how many romance dramas have come out in the last six months, I honestly don't know why or when did a love story become a madly in love man doing everything and having no self respect and a woman who barely cares about him and prioritizes everything before him.
I love badass strong and independent FLs but it seems like that's not what this is( in general not this drama), bc you can both be in love and be a well written female character. And if your story is a romance and it's not just a small part of it, then I would expect equal focus on both characters and the strength of their feelings for eo but it looks like we're in the "wish fulfillment" pretend you're the FL era of romance where the MLs role begins and ends with being down bad to insane levels and the FL can barely muster a word of devotion and a single act of care towards the last few episodes. If the roles were reversed people would be soooo mad bc this isn't how love is supposed to be but alas.
He sounds really really in love is it the same for her? I'm thinking about watching now that it's over but I don't…
Thank you for the long explanation. I don't mind him falling first but does she fall just as hard? As in throughout the episodes do we see her show up for him and care for him just as many times and with as much devotion as he does for her? As in if her actions were his and his actions were hers would people be saying he's sooo in love like in the comments now?
Essentially the difference between something like YAMG, Hidden love and LBFAD , Fated hearts where FL was 100% in vs something like TFF, Shine on me, Moonlit reunion where the ML was way more in love and did most of the work, if it's not actually 50/50 then I won't enjoy it tbh, that's just how my brain works, for me to believe it's love I need genuine complete equal investment from BOTH.
I'm thinking of watching this now that it's almost over so I was wondering what the otp's like? The usual cdrama…
Thank you so much, so it's not for me then if 2/3rds or more of the story is him being more in love and doing all the chasing etc then it's not my kind of otp. It's frustrating because trying to find a drama lately where it's genuinely both people as in love is like looking for a unicorn, they practically don't exist anymore.
I'm thinking of watching this now that it's almost over and can I ask what the otp's like? The usual cdrama romance…
Thank you, yeah I've seen some comments about how she doesn't seem to care about him the present scenes etc I don't mind if she made decisions to protect him but reading some of those comments did make it seem like it was the typical cdrama romance where the fl is always much less invested and barely cares. I just don't consider those kinds of otps "love", I actually need to believe both characters adore eo from their actions and words in the same way which basically eliminates 90% of dramas, so I didn't enjoy a lot of the most popular ones like TFF, Kunning palace etc Edit: Someone below answered me as well and this isn't is for me, it doesn't sound completely unequal but very very far from equal, if he spends most of the drama chasing her even after he thinks left him just bc and she's always restrained and barely shows her love then yeah... if the roles were reversed I don't think anyone would consider it equal but rather tell her to find someone else and that's my barometer for actual balanced otps, thanks for your opinion again.
Li Yifei driving and dealing with his company problem and still making sure that he could pick up Qianfei despite…
He sounds really really in love is it the same for her? I'm thinking about watching now that it's over but I don't really do the madly in love ml with barely acts like she cares fl but rather prefer couples where they're both 100% as in love and as devoted and show it with their words and actions, and from the comments I've seen so far this seems like the former...
Ok, the last 5 episodes are delightful, they're so cute together, and I love that she proposes first, pookie deserved…
I'm thinking of watching this now that it's almost over so I was wondering what the otp's like? The usual cdrama romance with ml 10 times more in love and doing 99% of the work which most people seem to prefer or the very rare rlsp where they're both as invested and as in love (Hidden love, YAMG, Falling into you etc), your comment of he deserved having her propose first makes me think it's the former.
MY SHAYLASSS!!! GOD I'M GONNA CRY. SUCH A LOVELY ENDING AND THEY LOOK SO GOOD TOGETHERRRRðŸ˜

The dynamic is pretty different tbh because the characters are very different. the romance in drama is very high…
Yeah it was pretty equal in the novel but I don't think it's equal in the drama from the posts I've seen. It looks like the classic cdrama couple where ml is much more in love.
