Number 1 rule of dramaland. Female lead can move on from ML and marry or date other men but not the male lead.…
Yup that's how it almost always is, although in this one he's about to marry someone else from the trailer although I'm sure they'll tell us he doesn't actually love her which is fine as long as they show us FL hasn't moved on either.
This seems promising but how's the otp? mutually supportive and caring? or more one of them makes most of the…
Thank you that sounds lovely, I asked because I am weary of how so many dramas place the entire relationship's development on the ML instead of it being a supportive mutual partnership where they both care for eo.
Finished it. It is very good, or would be if it didnt have 4 frikin love triangles. They are not angsty at all,…
Thank you for your comment otherwise I would've wasted my time on this. I am really not a fan of the "one person doing everything for the other" and it's 9/10 the guy so many dramas do and it's hard to tell by the reviews because all they talk about is "they're sweet he loves her so much he will do anything for her" like her part in the relationship doesn't matter but maybe it's also because it's basically nonexistent in the drama.
Ι think I pinpointed the problem that had me pause the drama. It's not the chemistry per se.It's the fact that…
This is exactly my issue with this setup, there's a lot of other problems too but this is the biggest one. The way his feelings developed (and I'm being generous here since they were pretty much there instantly) is so incompatible with the situation? It should've been a slowburn on both sides romantically. Also it's such a weird choice to have a man who lost his entire family in a romance with someone who is giving him nothing but heartache, shouldn't this be a story of him finding someone to be that family for him to care and protect him instead we get whatever.... this is.
How's this one as well romance wise? mutually devoted or nah? There's not much comments and the synopsis is very…
Much appreciated also have you see Follow your heart? I was thinking of checking it out but I saw multiple comments saying the FL is very selfish and does whatever she wants and expects ML to save her.
If you loved Meet Yourself(2023)...this drama is perfect for you , similar plot story.Main couple so cute togheterBeautiful…
How's this one as well romance wise? mutually devoted or nah? There's not much comments and the synopsis is very focused on the ML overcoming obstacles to be with the FL, is that the case for her too?
Things fell into groove again there for a bit there but then, in ep 11, the FL's immature and irresponsible behavior,…
I wish I'd read this before I wasted my time on this. I had the exact same reaction as you at first it was sweet then by the umpteenth misunderstanding and their childhood friend added as the 3rd wheel I was so done. Like you said she's the one who kept saying she liked him and yet he was the one doing soooo much for her, he was literally working at 3 labs so she could stay at theirs and so many other things. It was so obvious they were dragging things so they wouldn't get together and I just skipped to the end but it seemed like it stayed the same way, yeah she was somewhat supportive but it didn't seem even close to what he was doing/did for her so I just noped out.
What a great character, she's straight up evil but so magnetic and KYJ is such a great actress, I still remember watching her in MTETS when she was younger. The one thing I'm confused by is why they're calling this a romance? Nothing about the way she's manipulating and using these people is romantic.
She's 35 years old for f*ck's sake, people need to stop infanitizing grown ass women (the character and the actress). Also we're here to watch a fictional story between 2 characters, If the only way someone can consume fiction is to be attracted and want to date the the fake character or the random actor doing his job who doesn't know they exist then idk what to tell you.
I’m so happy they’re even adapting all the little side plots from the webtoon !!!(especially the little brother…
Hi can I ask does WY start reciprocating his feelings and caring for him/supporting him as well in the next chapters of the webtoon? He's very into her and constantly doing things for her but we're getting nothing from woo yeon so far. I asked earlier but didn't get an answer.
i keep saying it. it's like she only "likes him" cos he said he likes her. I haven't seen any reciprocation.
Exactly, I saw you asked for recs where people fall in love gradually, most romances nowadays are like this one where the ml is there to be the fl's emotional support animal and the fl is there to be the audience's self insert who does nothing lest she remind them they're not actually her.
You need to watch older kdramas from 2022 and before which mostly had actual reciprocation from both parties. I'd personally recommend One spring night, The princess man, Queen inhyun's man, It's okay that's love, Healer, Beauty inside, 30 but 17, My roommate is a gumiho, Hometown cha cha cha, Call it love, Fight for my way, Her private life and Touch your heart.
How's the romance from the fl's side? Is it equal devotion and effort like You are my glory and Hidden love or…
Much appreciated, I am so fed up of all the simping and one sided couples. Do you have any other recs for under the radar dramas like this from 2025 that have equal devotion and effort?
Super sweet romance, main couple so good togetherthe last 5 min of last episode are a little confuse (the screenwriter…
How's the romance from the fl's side? Is it equal devotion and effort like You are my glory and Hidden love or more one sided like Legally romance and Best thing?
you're not wrong, but taken separately, ML is heavily exuding feromones lauched by testosterone even through the…
Yup with the teasers we're 1/2 through the drama and it looks like she has no feelings for him at all, it's the acting for sure but it's also the writing, they're giving so much time to establishing his feelings; he's getting jealous, he's dreaming about her, he gets flustered when she's close, he's doing things just bc he cares about her etc but nothing at all from her and that's not how you develop a romantic relationship, it has to go both ways.
Doesn't a love story require two people? Here every moment of support, care and affection big and small has been from the ML, I can't even tell if or even why she likes HIM as a person besides the fact that he treats her so well. I very much doubt if the roles were reversed this would be seen as highly romantic and healthy.
Technically speaking she spent more time with him than Do Ha and at this point we don't know what kind of relationship…
If they both cared more about her than each other then that's just downright depressing, siblings choosing romance over eo is abhorrent but yes it's just speculation let's see how it goes though I won't hold my breath.
