I'm watching and loving idol I I haven't seen No tail to tell yet. But they're not equals in this one right so I should just drop it right? Once people start swooning over ML and how much he's doing for FL and wishing it was them or they had someone like him with almost zero mention of what FL's role and contribution to this relationship is, it's obvious what kind of rlsp it is.

Did it end up being more equal after the first episodes? Is it more Hidden love and Falling into you (equal, mutual) or Legally Romance and Filter (very one sided, ml doing almost everything).

That cap was lifted a while ago but it seems platforms are not interested in going back to longer dramas.

This isn't the real world though it's a fictional relationship written deliberately to tell a story and it doesn't have to be a 100% equal but a relationship where both are putting eo first and doing their best to take care of one another vs something where it's the ML doing everything like most dramas is a pretty big difference. Let's not pretend most dramas even try and almost always it's a guy whose entire life revolves around loving the fl and a girl who has him as number 14 on her priority list. And yet plenty of dramas have managed it, you are my glory from the same writer did it really well.

I figured because people's understanding of the world equal is very... interesting. If the roles were reversed I doubt it would be considered so. I was looking forward to this one given the writer did you are my glory but alas. My favorite one from last year was Wanna Be now that was equal.

Okay question how equal and reciprocal is the romance here? I see comparisons to Best Thing and that wasn't even close to equal, so are we actually talking equal love and devotion or "equal" in the sense that people call it equal when the male lead doing everything and the female lead not being awful to him is considered equal.

Oh she falls harder? That's interesting, it's not the impression the drama is giving so far, are they following the original story closely?

Is she as committed and caring towards ML as he is towards her? Because this is giving loser in love ml making most of the effort in the relationship vibes...

I have a question. How's the main couple's relationship in the webnovel? Mutually and equally loving from both sides or more ML is down bad doing everything by himself?

Yeah that's why I said she liked him but that hardly qualifies as she's crazy about him or even in love with him, the difference in their love and devotion for each other is incredibly immense.

Are they crazy about each other, I mean he is but she hasn't done anything that would lead me to that conclusion... He's ready to die for her, telling even in death he'll cling to her like 20 other things that show this but what exactly has she done that qualifies as anything more than "mildly likes him but more so likes how much he loves her and understands her".

Because it's so funny to me when people pretend these kinds of relationships don't make up 9 out of 10 dramas and I for one I'm tired of it and ready for more balance and mutual devotion.

I wouldn't keep waiting for anything like that, it's just going to be more of him sacrificing anything for her with no reciprocation, it's the classic cdrama romance formula and from the looks of it this won't be any different. If you want to watch something where there's actual love and sacrifice from both sides I suggest Fated Hearts, Love of the divine tree and Blossoming love.

Was this episode 1? Because I saw on twitter screenshots of her killing herself but I didn't see it in the actual episode or did I just miss it..

How's the romance in the novel cause I read some reviews of it and I know this writer and she usually does very mutually in love couples like You are my glory instead of just a down bad ML carrying the relationship on his back, is that also the case for these 2 or is it the usual he fell harder trope?

A prison GL? This sounds amazing, a question though how's the actual romance and relationship? I prefer ones where they're as in love with each other rather than one of them being obsessed and the other one not so much.

I really hope they change it in the drama and at least have her look for him but I very much doubt it. And yeah she should've stood up to her parents about the way they treated him especially later on when she finds out what they did, even the people he calls family and the love of his life treat him this way and that's just heartbreaking and you're right it's not romantic and masculine it's a display of deep trauma, that seems like it will be glossed over here.

It's so strange to me because if this was the other way around you know this would never happen, somehow when the FLs are the ones with this kind of life the ML will always put them first and stand by them and yet even when it's the ML with this kind of like they're still the ones who will always put the FL first.

What kind of love is it if an abandoned kid with no family go through so much alone while the person he loves more than anything is living her life without a care in the world only to come back when he's got it all together and the fact that he's trying to get her parents to accept him just makes it so much more sadder, she should be the one doing that, she's been pampered and loved all her life while he's been the opposite so their relationship should be at least a balance of love and care instead it's the exact same patterns.

That sounds incredibly unfair and just so so sad and he deserves so much better like wow it's really hard to root for them rn and want them to be together...
