Its just very funny for someone to have so much discomfort to watch a series that is 'great but I hate the ml's face' lol Is there nothing better to watch for them? Something where everything in the drama pleases them?

Well for me I enjoyed Deng wei's performances in LYF. He was great as Jing and did his best with the little he was given. In Cdrama many good looking actors can't act, even more cannot emote well. He's one of the rare actors who can do all 3.

As for liability I doubt it. So far even after they get injured most times they still carry on working. I think they all accepted it as how it is to work there. On a fixed schedule and nobody can wait for one person to recover.

If you already read the novel I think she did not.
It was a much simpler and straight forward story which might be boring for drama so the scriptwriter added more things but now we reached a similar story point in the drama where RR was really amazing and made her sacrifice to help SYS and ended up this way.

Novel Ranran had always been weak and in poor health compared to others when she was growing up. Even though her health improved under SYS's care and her skills levelled up her damaged constitution was unable to retain any spiritual energy and she had to be recharged daily by SYS who never let her know.

Yes its great how they wove her consent naturally into it now lol
Before we only had her being all bewildered by all these but liking it since she already likes her Shifu lol

Honestly in the novel they already kissed so much but RR was still ignorant of her real identity, I am sure some might be very uncomfortable at how she was being seduced by his great kissing HAHAHAHAH
So I am glad the screenwriter brought the timeline forward here and kept the kisses before this point minimal.

I understood it as he needed to be cold and unfeeling to maintain that other half of the core. Thats why everytime his feelings stirred he needs to rush to the giant freezer again

Since its broken, he is now free to feel warm and fuzzy, hug and kiss as much as they want hahahah

But if you think about it... she was on super express training... she really only sacrificed 1.5 years of cultivation
I really need to applaud the screenwriter. She managed to bring everything back to this point...
