Is the story slow paced or is it enganing from the first episode? Because i tried to watch the first episode,…
There is definitely pacing issues with this one. Some episodes feel engaging and fast whereas others are slow with lots of unnecessary “romance” fillers. As someone in their 30’s, a lot of these fillers seem very childish to me. This could’ve easily been a tighter 16 episode drama.
Today’s Webtoon, Adamas and Big Mouth! Also finally starting Extraordinary Attorney Woo.
EAW is really heartwarming and sweet! Park Eun Bin is phenomenal. I think you should try it out. Also watching Alchemy of Souls. It’s romance with a side of sorcery lol. The drama is pretty long with a confirmed S2 so I guess you can start if you like such genre and are ok with a longer plot.
This drama is such a convoluted version of “Law School” with all the insane added plot points that were totally unnecessary. Honestly, it’s hard to continue watching but with 2 episodes left, may as well find out how it ends.
Woong’s cells are so well thought out, they’re almost as complex and detailed as Yumi’s. This made me think that Woong would be endgame but who knows! Their chemistry is definitely much more electrifying than YuBi. Woong never wavered in his love for Yumi and after all this time, it’s commendable that he still thinks of her as his inspiration.
If she wasn't a violent cop, acting illegally, I'd have more sympathy with that argument.
“Charming” doesn’t give him the right to ILLEGALLY break in to a suspect’s home, steal their cellphone or tamper with evidence in the abandoned car. Don’t forget- he was convicted and went to prison for tampering with evidence. You and I know he was wrongfully convicted but the FL doesn’t, and from her point of view, he is just a fraud shaman. Ask yourself- would you support the ML’s actions if he wasn’t as cute as Seo In Guk? 😬 On the flip side, the FL has been too emotional and rigid in her investigative approach, and if we can go by the events of episode 6, this will soon change 🤞🏼

I agree with your point as well. FL is not doing herself any favors here. I can see that the writers want to build a complex plot by adding many misunderstandings but they better get resolved soon so the police and NHJ can start working together. Definitely not condoning any violence but seems like the writers have added those punching scenes for comedy factor and sadly it’s not funny 😅
Everyone being annoyed at the FL detective is overlooking the point that Nam Han Jun is massively interfering in the investigation as a civilian. Even if he was wrongfully accused and wants to clear his name, this slapstick clumsy side-sleuthing is the worst possible way to do it.
Episode 12 had way too many convenient or coincidental plot points that it was a bit laughable…like how is everything unfolding at exactly the same time- sister’s killer parole approaching, her body being found at the construction site, Su Jae’s doctor friend recognizing GC’s sister’s name from an incident 10 years (!!!) ago, GC’s big reveal etc.
With so much going on and so many powerful villains to deal with, no one needs Yoon Sang to act out like a little hurt child who didn’t get his way. It’s just pure annoying at this point…
HIY has played a high school student at least twice recently, people might be swayed by that.
It’s not the age gap- it’s the inherent position of authority that a professor has that doesn’t bode well in this scenario. Even if it’s a forced position- she still is employed by the University and is a professor, like it or not.
Is it just me or anyone else felt deja vu at the end of episode 6? It was basically the ending of episode 4….
OSJ in distress (totally her fault), spoke to GC on the phone, sounding “not ok”, GC rushing out to rescue her. Just hate how the writers make it seem like she needs rescuing all the time.
