Is it just me or anyone else felt deja vu at the end of episode 6? It was basically the ending of episode 4….

I agree, I barely managed to finish Melancholia and it gave me a weird uncomfortable vibe the whole time. This drama could’ve used the brilliant “Law School” approach and focused more on skill/talent. Just the premise that a female lawyer “needs” to be a kind/warm person by receiving love from a man so she can be a better lawyer is problematic.

Wow this drama is unbelievably cringe. Did a teenager write the screenplay?

This drama would’ve been so much better without the romance! A professor and her mentees would’ve been a lot more realistic and compelling arc.

SO underrated! Loved all the characters, well written story and different enough from others in the genre that it held my attention till the very end. I hope this drama will get more visibility and appreciation ♥️

Rewatching this….LDW and JBA have such great chemistry. Love their banter!

I just don’t understood why Bok Joo was not considered “pretty” and Joon Hyeong was supposed to be so much better looking. Lee Sung Kyung is an absolute knockout even as a quirky athlete 😁

I don’t think the point of this drama was for people to “end up together”. It’s more about how people around you can help you break the chains of monotony and live life free and….liberated ♥️

This drama has a way of making you feel warm and comforting. A true masterpiece! Definitely the best this year. The ending was beautiful and realistic. Liberation doesn’t have to be epic or grand. It’s the small moments of realization…

100% agree with your review! When you there is so much universal praise for a drama, sometimes it’s hard to come to terms with not having the same feeling as everyone else! I really wanted to like this but it just fell flat. The fight scenes were so mind numbing and repetitive and in some cases totally outlandish that I found myself skipping through them.

Right! And we would’ve gotten a tighter storyline. Perhaps 16 episodes!

Yes I believe you’re right! They can take the equivalent of a GED or SAT test and still get into college. Unfortunately we will never know what path Il Deung actually ended up taking! I’m not sure if you watched 2521 but there is a similar situation with a good student dropping out of high school and then taking the GED.

I guess we’ll see what our Hee Woo does. 6 more episodes!

Getting rid of the corruption at Seoul Central Prosecution will open a free path for him to investigate and indict CTS. That’s where he failed last time! But yes, he will have to do more that just that.

I guess you could try My Name and Itaewon Class. Both have elements of revenge and “weak against strong” themes.

Love a good revenge/takedown story! 😁
