Yep, I will forever side-eye a grown man sending a letter like that to a 16/17 year old teenager. Better never…
I'm thinking stunted somewhere else too.

Yeah, the MΔ°L was somewhat fair and not at all a bad person overall. She was just behaving according to the conventions…
Yeah, I agree. I FFWD quite a few scenes also, especially with the whiney bitches that I couldn't stand, with their "Woe is me" attitude while sticking the knife in someone's back.

Why has the family withdrawn from this? Have they recieved money from him under the table? Which means they were…
No, they are just biding their sweet time and make him sweat and bite his fingernails everyday since their daughter's death.

is scandal over? He came back to Korea?
He's probably hiding in a cargo on its way to Taiwan for his next fan meeting. With the chickens. πŸ”πŸ€πŸ”

Still no defamation charge against dating a minor. I feel probably KSR family is waiting KSH's defamation charge…
Agree that this is so possible. It's like them saying to KSH, "it's not us who wants to drag this to court, it's you." And then they have more grounds to prosecute him, because if he wanted to play that game, so will they. Hopefully, KSR's family's efforts will not go down the drain.

If KSH side thinks that there is a possibility that KSR kept all evidence, he should have already come right out and say it. All this mess is basically KSR reaching out her hand on the day of her death, to drag KSH with her to the hell that he made her go through. This is poetic justice playing out in real time.

Blech. Yes, they would have to zoom like 10,000x to find his non-existent wiener that's masking as a mole.

Yes, this what KSH parents should have done. Instead of harboring him, they should at least come out and apologize…
I think at this point "Fugitive" is a better compliment to KSH than calling him an asshole, minor-fucker who drove vulnerable girls to death. He can picture himself as a Mercenary fighting for Groomers everywhere. He will be their poster child and his supporters will be waving thongs as flags.

Okay, good thing I'm not eating while I read this but picturing anybody's butt-floss deserves a trip to the lobotomy.

There is a KSH supporter in my neighborhood. Apparently, after hearing about this, his parents are disowning him...…
Yes, this what KSH parents should have done. Instead of harboring him, they should at least come out and apologize for their son if himself would not come out and apologize. What they are doing is protecting a fugitive. If my kids ever do something harmful to others, I would make sure they apologize and make amends. I would be the first one to report them to the police if they committed a serious crime, (hopefully my kids will not give me a reason to do this).

The way that KSH family is doing is no different from those parents who gift their sons a gun after knowing their desire to shoot up a school. Then wonder later, why their son did those vile things, as if they already didn't aide and abet in his actions. KSH family protecting him is akin to excusing his grooming behavior. I'm not sorry he's suffering from mental distress. He should be feeling the pain of what he put those girls through.

Exactly, some of the stage moms are so horrible that they are pressuring their kids in doing what they didn't want to do. It was heartbreaking to watch, and I didn't even watch the shows. The commercials alone were pissing me off.

Well, considering that Toddlers and Tiaras, and Dance Moms were able to run for 7 to 8 years straight, it means there's a market for these type of shows. I used to see the commercials for Dance Mom's where the parents were praising their daughters for their sexy moves in skimpy outfits I almost just balked. I am not against kids dancing, but there's a fine line where it is a "fun" type of dancing, and the type of gyrating which you typically see in a strip club.

This is like saying all Vampire stories are grooming, as if there are really vampires.
Yes, that's where parents step in BEFORE something like that happens. I happen to take parenting seriously, enough to guide my kids but not restrict them. If my words of advice didn't have an effect on them, then I failed as a parent. If they still went ahead and do stuff that it's detrimental to them, well, the only thing I can do is I hope they learn the lesson from their own mistakes and pray those mistakes would not be lethal enough to kill them, but just enough to knock some sense into them.

Unfortunately for KSR's parents, she didn't seem to heed what they have been telling her (if you read KSR's mother's letter). They thought that by restricting her is good for their daughter. But the difference between KSR and my daughters, is that KSR is already an adult who can make her own decisions despite her parents' advice. ( I'm not talking about when she was 15, but in her decisions after she turned legal,,)

Yes, I agree that there might be some complicity from the parents part, especially if it's proven that the shirt KSH was wearing belongs to KSR's mother. However, I also think that as a parent, sometimes you would want your kids to be happy, even if you don't approve of their actions, such as KSR being in love with an adult.

Not one of us is there to know what KSR's parents were thinking if they let them be together for so long despite knowing their relationship. So we can't be too quick to judge their decision.

What if they already knew the vulnerable state that KSR was in or her tendency to self-harm, the parents may think that taking away KSR's one source of happiness will cause her to spiral even more.

But now of course, after what happened, they might have regretted their decision. Hindsight is always 20/20.
All the parents are asking for is an apology. They are not asking for KSH to be criminally prosecuted, especially if they know they may have a hand in "accepting" their relationship..

Parents who really care about their children (I'm not saying those who just give birth and chuck them out in the ditches), these parents will try their best to protect their children. But even there's no such thing as a perfect parent. They knew they failed KSR in life, so they are trying to rectify it in death. Only to clear their daughter's name.

They are not denying her drinking habit, nor they are denying that she might have made some mistakes. But what they really want is accountability of those who have a hand in driving their daughter to despair, be it Lee Jin Ho, Gold Medalist, the Netz who hounded her at that time, and KSH himself.

Their ask is plain and simple. I hope people see it that way and not more than what they are asking.

I think that KSR's family have enough suffering with the death of their daughter. To wish them something more, is just not my MO.

Well, I just asked my 9 year old and she even laughed at me and gave me the side eye while saying: "Just because it's on TV, doesn't mean it's real."

At least I know my kids know what's the deal while some people may need a refresher.
