I think I’ve never seen a drama with so many little significant scenes included that are not entirely anything to do with romance, ningning and baoer reunion, the pig squad formation and CY giving them the keepsakes and telling them about the village, the woman of the society dressing up like CY to feel safer, allll of them shot with so much purpose, beauty and importance as the main couple scenes, I love it 🥰

I was suddenly hit with the thought that the littlest sister, could grow up to be like caiwei? Both foodies and wei gong sis say the little one had special qualities about her. Hmmm food for thought

I didn’t expect this to be so captivating, well executed and above all soooo funny. Loved every single minute of it. I hope they follow it up with a great second season. What a pleasure it was to watch this team of ppl bring this to life! 10/10

Edit - also, the annoying princess I see a lot of comments talking about wasn’t even that annoying tbh, she even had some character depth to her and also, the show really did have good female characters that had their own distinct identities and strengths so I am honestly more than happy to see that hahaha

Omggggi swear the actor did a realllly good job, so much so that I was crying in the last scenes, feeling ultimately sad about where his obsession led huuhuhuhhu, really nothing but his good acting could pull off that emotion from me with the useless obsession script he was given. Phew I struggled ahhahahahaha

Listen I know it’s unhinged for me to like SLtoo much when he’s been nothing but uselessly obsessed for past 10 episodes BUT but YCE pulled off SL too well, that I found myself crying in the end. ok that’s it byee

Pausing ep 34 in the middle, cause omgggg the acting is sooo good and the moment Situ Ling realises she lied to him about GMD, ohhh the heartbreak is soooooo beautifully portrayed by the actor. I was “oh noeee you cutie” ing him without even realising hahahaha

Sameeeee, I even took a long nap to avoid it, but gave in 2 minutes after waking up. Aiyaaaah this 1 ep a day is torturous

First season hands down over this one.
1. Absolutely hated the “alliance” that just kept on going only cause ‘oh but we grew close’
2. I found the games from the first season, way more diverse and fun like the memorising game, playing with random 4th player and what not. This season felt like there were so many card game (half of which I couldn’t really follow along, so I guess that bored me lol)
3. Man I really did not like victim attitude of certain ppl

I hope they have another season and it is better than this one hehe

The 2 Jae Wooks did a splendid job, the OST was great (burning petals esp), but otherwise this was a total meh. The romance made noooo sense.

Absolutely bewitched myself too, I def thought it was some old Tamilian folk tune when I first listened to it! TBH, the ost is the best thing to come out of this series lol
