I don't know if anyone else noticed this, but when her brother died he was looking to the side and then he looked in front of him, so I think it might have been more than one person involved in killing him.
Okay, I'm gonna guess that the brother was in a relationship with either JaeBeom and Gi O Sung got jealous, or he was in a relationship with the friend (who's name i don't remember) and Gi O Sung was blackmailing them.
I know that it was really really harsh and horrible and it broke her heart, but LX was right to push her away when he went to jail/when he decided to assault FZJ. She would never have left if she thought there was a chance LX wanted to be with her at that moment. And he was right to not drag her down with him. While she might have been able to have a good career if she stayed, she would have been splitting her time and commitment to also trying to help LX (who didn't want to be helped at that point and who made a lot of enemies which would have likely ended up hurting her too). By ending things with her, she was able to make herself into something and be independent from him and from her family. She gained her own reputation and was better off for it.
I like that they show LX's growth after three years. He was super arrogant as a freshman and he was rude to everyone, and then when the three years passed, we can see that he did grow, and how his relationship with ZY influenced him. He became nicer and while he was still arrogant, he wasn't shoving it down people's throats. Barring the incident with ZY's parents (which was intentional to drive her away from him) I think he really grew up to be more respectful and learned how to work with people. It's a real shame he was betrayed by Gao because I think he genuinely thought that over the years, he had shown Gao that he valued him and treated him with sincerity. But Gao is a b***h and deserves no rights.
Boys over flowers is one of the first kdramas i've watched, but if I come back to it now I'd just have cringe. So I have to know, before watching this, is this better than Boys over Flowers. Because if it's just a show about a tsundere, and a male lead who bullies the female lead, and a female lead who basically just yells or cries all the time, then I need to know now before I invest time in this.
On episode 14 and I really like the show so far and the characters. Everything except Chen Guo. I think this is the first time I disliked a female lead so strongly. I really hope she improves. And I really hope there is never a romance between her and YX.
Like why is he minding everyone else's business and not tending to his own
I'm on episode 5 right now and he is my least favorite character. That's including the ex and the secretary. Sir, mind your own business. She's just not that into you.
