I like that they show LX's growth after three years. He was super arrogant as a freshman and he was rude to everyone, and then when the three years passed, we can see that he did grow, and how his relationship with ZY influenced him. He became nicer and while he was still arrogant, he wasn't shoving it down people's throats. Barring the incident with ZY's parents (which was intentional to drive her away from him) I think he really grew up to be more respectful and learned how to work with people. It's a real shame he was betrayed by Gao because I think he genuinely thought that over the years, he had shown Gao that he valued him and treated him with sincerity. But Gao is a b***h and deserves no rights.

Why does Fang Zhijing have so much influence? i don't understand. Didn't he clearly rig the previous competition…
I literally have the same question. It makes no sense to me.

Boys over flowers is one of the first kdramas i've watched, but if I come back to it now I'd just have cringe. So I have to know, before watching this, is this better than Boys over Flowers. Because if it's just a show about a tsundere, and a male lead who bullies the female lead, and a female lead who basically just yells or cries all the time, then I need to know now before I invest time in this.

This drama is so dumb but somehow I'm very invested in it. How did this happen?

On episode 14 and I really like the show so far and the characters. Everything except Chen Guo. I think this is the first time I disliked a female lead so strongly. I really hope she improves. And I really hope there is never a romance between her and YX.

Literally some of the best action scenes ever. So well choreographed.

Like why is he minding everyone else's business and not tending to his own
I'm on episode 5 right now and he is my least favorite character. That's including the ex and the secretary. Sir, mind your own business. She's just not that into you.

I'm on episode 9 right now, and I'm going to be honest, I don't like the female lead. I don't think she's a good cop. She can be competent but she's overly aggressive in situations where she really doesn't need to be and she makes rash decisions. Maybe I'm biased because she's getting in the Male Lead's way in his investigation and is making things harder, but she is also kind of hypocritical, saying that she should be in charge because she has legal authority to do so, but then she breaks laws whenever she wants (breaking into male lead's house, stealing male lead's stuff, taking male lead into custody despite evidence of the killer. . . )
I really hope she grows as a character in the coming episodes, because as she is now is a big no from me.

I agree with you in many of the things you have said, marriage needs tolerance, empathy, solidarity and a lot…
I don't think it was because he didn't trust his feelings for Yumi. I think it was because he was in a long distance relationship with her and barely got to see her, meanwhile he saw DaEun all the time because she lived next door to him and he wanted to put distance in that relationship.

On Yumi's Cells Season 2 Jul 20, 2022
I don't think enough people understand that when you're in a long distance relationship, it is really hard to maintain a relationship. People in long distance relationships, no matter how committed they are to each other, do more often than not end up developing some feelings for other people, even if it isn't completely romantic, it isn't always platonic. You can have those feelings and not do anything about it. But they can make you uncomfortable, and not want to encourage it. Moving is an understandable decision. Babi is alone in another city away from his girlfriend most of the time, and wouldn't want to make it awkward or encourage anything in DaEun or himself. I'm not saying he would cheat on Yumi, but seeing DaEun more might encourage him to care more for her beyond platonic feelings, which is how he began to waiver. He would want to nip that in the bud. It's not any different than stopping seeing someone to bring some distance in the relationship.
As to Babi lying, yes he shouldn't have lied, but also it is understandable. He wouldn't want to make it awkward or make Yumi feel insecure or anything. He also wouldn't want to deal with the side eye about every interaction he has with DaEun, which can happen.
The hate he is getting is out of proportion to what he did. Which is barely anything.
But that's just my opinion.
