Okay I got to the "cocaine" moment of your review and it seems like the case of people who say yes without checking shit first π₯² The fact she got no support from her government sucks for sure, but one would think after getting bad result after not checking things once with the loan, they would not be so quick to jump into a new situation without checking it first. and I get it, if your situation is really bad and it's either "getting worse doing nothing, or hoping for good result while taking a risk" the answer seems simple, and the regret only comes later.
o-signing a loan you canβt easily cover is always a dangerous move no matter how much you like someone. < this. Honestly only co-sign and borrow money you are okay to lose. It seems like a simple rule, but social relationships and emotions are complex and it's not that easy to follow when it happens to you.
Netizens can do a lot of damage but in this case they rallied for good! < public opinion can make or break anything.
Great review πππ₯π₯
This might have been one of my favorite episodes. Comedy hit well, romance hit well (that fucking kissing scene in the hotel room, fuck yeah), the emotional scenes hit good, hits hit good. Like they did deliver in all areas π₯
Han Gyu Yeong might be rude, but she is also NOT wrong π€£
If after this Gyu Rim does not cut her dad out of her life completely I will honestly not feel bad for her no matter what happens. Like baby girl, make some adult choices for once. Coz no, her taking care of everyone was not her being an adult. Not letting ADULTS around you deal with life and face consequences of their actions because you fear what will happen to them is by all means coward thing to do that makes the whole situation worse for both you and them in longer term.
Also Gyu Yeong was READY lo leave, she was all packed in 20 seconds π€‘
Gyu Rim taking money and leaving is not noble idiocy and that I appreciate. Like sure, she feels bad about him being injured, but mostly it is a way for her to save her family - that's the main reason. That said, she truly did not need to make herself look like gold digger bitch, she could vaguely state the truth - I am not in a life position to be with him, it's too much for me to handle, i need money to survive so I will leave him if you give me that money. The reasoning would make NO difference for the family anyway as long as she is gone.
Okay I spoke too soon π It was all an act. Not it makes more sense with her personality. BUT BABY GIRL YOU NEED THAT MONEY ANYWAY ππ YOU ARE LEAVING ANYWAY JUST TAKE IT.
Like she is not a good person, she crossed the line into stupid territory π€‘
8 years later, fucking finally, I needed that present timeline. Let's see how dumb Gyu Rim still is π€£
JHJAGFJSDHF THIS BITCH IS TAKING CARE OF ANOTHER CHILD THAT IS NOT HER FOR SURE, I FUCKING CANNOT π€‘π€£ There is no way it's her son π I wish he was, but we all know he is not.
WAIT... or is it her son.. with Mu Jin? I did not know they did the do π€£
Well even if child is in fact her, she is still as stupid as she was, seeing how she still does shit for Gyu Yeong. If the dad is in the picture I will flip π
Bae Yoon Gyu kind of hot π₯ Good for him. But I'm also surprised Gyu O turned out like this, since he seemed even more sensible than Gyu Rim in the past π€‘
Han Gyu Seo is adorable as a teenager. Cannot believe he is even more adorable as a teen than as a kid π€£
So baby boy Mu Jin is traumatized and full on anti-romantic, not believing in love type of a deal?
Not him fighting with his own son about game, without knowing it's his son π
Han Gyu Yeong is BLIND. Her boyfriend just does not have a good vibe and I a amazed she does no sense it.
The staring and judging contest between Gyu Yeong and Gyu O in that restaurant was everything π€£
Yet again, Gyu Yeong is rude, but NOT wrong π€£
Okay now that the police reads the comments, that's a good level of trash talking, they are experience for sure π€‘
Color me fake surprise with him misunderstanding whose child it is and with whom Gyu Rim now is π€£ 50 episodes, we need all misunderstandings and miscommunications we can get.
Well well well... Not me shipping the badass siblings with uncle and his niece π That would make of a real weird family tree, but who cares π€‘
Honestly while watching episode 3 I thought baby boy will die and that's what will get Jian to join Jinman's world rather than run away from it π Which I would not mind coz I still ship her with crazy bitch J even though they did not interact ONCE π€‘
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO J, HOW COULD YOU RUIN MY SHIP LOL Why he has to be with the boss lady π
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO BALE WHAT THE FUCK YOU LITERALLY KILLED HALF OF MY SHIP OMG πππππ
WHAT THE FUCK AND NOW BALE IS DEAD? WHATIS GOING ON OMG HAHAHAHAH
So the second half is Q hunting Jinman down for "killing" J, then finding out it was Bale and boss lady fucked it all up, so she will go after boss lady, and both ladies will end up dead by the end of it all π€‘ But honestly if Q believes it was Jinman who kill J, after all she saw with Bale... she is a dumb I cannot π
Baby boy died too... they are killing everyone π
What an episode.
I guess the only hot man to watch now is Lee Dong Wook π€‘
Excited at first, doubtful in the middle, bored by the end π₯²
I feel like at the end of the day the most memorable aspects of this drama were Seo In Guk's face and his forearm.
π The leads were fine. Cute at first, but later I find of actually wished for more... emotions in them. They were lukewarm no matter what happened.
π€‘ Second couple gave me nothing. Might be coz the dude was not the best actor out there lol
π₯ I really like the Home AI team and their team scenes were some of my favs.
π― I also found Cha Ji Yun and Cho Ga Eul's story more interesting than the leads together, mostly because their scenes actually made me feel shit π
π They showed some realistic workplace struggles, but also unrealistically well executed solutions for them. Han U Jin's drive for the company change and the setbacks was probably the best in terms of writing and realistic closure.
Overall... Time to move on.
My review for anyone interested: https://mydramalist.com/profile/theKate/review/592802
The slightly shaky camera and close ups - today's directing and editing choice I appreciate. The whole sequence of Su Bin taking care of and helping Ju I Jae was pure perfection π
Yo why is this directing working so well for me? I usually don't really care for it that much. I'm all writing and characters type of a girl. But here I focus on how the scenes are presented, filmed, edited etc so much and I am loving it. Something about this directing feels comfortable and fun.
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA I AM SO ANNOYED ππ When Su Bin said "I think this is for the best. Let's just do it this way. Let's not talk about it anymore" I went: shut the fuck up π€‘
I don't care if they need to have the conversation, I need them to have the conversation π₯²
I am boiling inside. The frustration is so real and it's so annoying how fucking clueless about it all Su Bin is π And at the end it was still her to clear shit up, set boundaries, start the conversation... But that's life. She is on the losing side in all areas here π
Honestly, she could not have worse debut as a director, coz no matter what her sills will be questioned as fuck. The fact she got the chance only coz she was his first love. That she got special treatment during the production. That he did all the work and her name is just there as addition.
