I think I like Kook Ji Hyun. Loved how she called out Gi O Sung after the basketball match. She is kind of cool. Also, while she is obviously jealous about Ji Soo Heon, up till now she did nothing wrong. She is obviously spoiled, but she cool. maybe because rich guy - poor girl is the most stereotypical and overused trope in the history of kdramas which is in fact the easier relationship to present in media, since it's easier to write conflicts and high stakes, which makes it more "entertaining" to write.

Picking something more realistic and mundane is actually a harder choice, coz it's not as easy to write an engaging story, especially when the target audience for the show are teens and young adults.

thoughts on the class project dates during episode 11

So after episode 11 I have thoughts about the dates and the quality of time spent together.

The date with Sun Ho was not genuine. The feelings behind it and the work that was put into it was, but the date itself was not. He was saying things he read on the internet, he did not share his interests nor really leaned into hers while planning the date. There was little to nothing for them to connect over, understand each other. It was fun, sure. But it felt more like a random hangout with a friend. It was a date that tells close to nothing about him as a person, and does not tap into who she was and what she cares about. It was a date he could take any girl on, as it was not really personal.

The date with Park Jung Woo was "real". He took a risk and became more vulnerable in front of her by trying to share his interest, knowing it can potentially backfire since she might not enjoy it. But it is who he is, and he wanted to show it to her. With the gift, he also showed that he listens to what she says and incorporates it in his actions towards her.

I'm also biased, because my idea of a perfect first date is one that things go wrong during - like here: not able to go to the planned restaurant, the place we wanted to visit being closed for renovation 🤣

That said, the preview makes little sense. I'm fine with the kiss. Not the first time a random drunk kiss happened - it's not out of ordinary. But the whole idea she is now confused about her feelings is laughable. She barely had feelings for ML (sure she had a crush, but it never felt like anything stronger) and damn she never shown even 10% of romantic feelings to SML. That plot development was just poorly done on her side...

Also... I sadly ship Oreo (FL's bestie) with the bro, but they obviously pushing for her and Grumpy 🙃

So I just finished season 1 and legit the only way I can accept Thomas being in season 2 and not getting his peaceful after life is:

him actually being able to leave the place as an alive human, he stepped into that room because the magic tunnel/door decided to reward him for his past good deeds and him taking care of the village for over 100 years, and giving him his life back so he will be now a normal 22 years old dude working with leads on cases.

coz any other scenerio basically means he will be forever stuck in these villages, because if they did not find his body now, ain't going to find it ever,.

Oh... yeah this whole series they don't not care much about female characters 😅 and of course Indiana Jones is the best and everything is basically modeled after him.

but the positives outweigh the negatives < yeah, but that's because you find the positive things here more important, your taste wise. While some things you think that are minor, might be a bigger deal for others ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
