I feel warmly towards Kim Jaewon after watching him in You And Everything Else, so I’m looking forward to this (was originally planning to skip it). He did well and chose an interesting role, it was unexpected and I commend him, and his acting was good!
Wait, the second male lead is that Kim Hyeon guy? I thought it was that talkative guy who always hanged out with…
It’s a bit presumptuous to judge actors based on their roles IMO. He’s a good actor with a warm and introverted personality. If you’re open to seeing him differently, you can try watching Melo Movie, GQ Korea What’s In My Bag, or the Jewel Box episode of him. Long time fans have seen how sweet and gentle he is haha, he’s the opposite of his villain characters in terms of personality, and often has soft boy looks in photoshoots and premieres. I actually find him too sweet for my tastes sometimes lmao. And if you’re going to hold on to your bias, that’s fine too, it might help you dislike his characters in future villain roles, making for a greater impact like Kim Jihoon, Kim Kwon, and Kim Youngkwang do.
Jang Dongyoon is so versatile. I want to say I wish we would see him more, but it’s good he’s selective about his projects and does one or two a year. It maintains the quality of his performance IMO.
I already love Jung Ishin/“Mantis” idc. FREE MY QUEEN!
So far I have seen zero plot progression and one Kopiko.
Mirr feels straight out of a melodrama.
The reason I like Korean fantasy shows is the “good” guys are often fun a**holes (like in Korean Odyssey, Doom At Your Service, Tale of the Nine-Tailed). Or atleast there’s a sharp or colourful antagonist. They got these cast members and had the audacity to make THIS. Or it might be a case of too many cooks spoiling the broth; there are too many characters and they are trying to tell their “stories” or focus on each one a bit within 8 episodes without giving them fun, fresh, unique characteristics. Bangwool is cool though and Ogwi might get more interesting later but that’s about it.
Ok tell me a thing actually am confused that when the egg second time broke sungmin stayed there for another 20…
Sungmin dived with the egg but Surin and the cop dived separately. The time pause waves did not pulsate through the whole body of water. It was Surin’s imagination that her and Sungmin were in the time pause. In reality her and the cop just got washed offshore.
Nooo 😭 I like Park Jihyun and loved her character Lee Kanghyun so much, not for romance but her character individually. Won’t be the same without her! She does have a lot of upcoming projects so it’s understandable, but she was so crucial to the Flex X Cop squad. Female characters like her played by an actor like her are hard to come by.
Finally a new Oh Yeju project! Liked her in Gangnam B-Side, Love Your Enemy, and No Gain No Love. She has this sassy energy and I can’t wait to see her again!
Amazing show!! The finale was a bit fast, not necessarily rushed but fast-paced. It wasn’t an all sunshine and sunflowers ending, it was kept realistic. I mostly watched this because of the science premise and action, and they delivered in those fronts. They didn’t stretch scenes out for emotional impact and still managed to make me feel what needed to be felt. Won Jinah was great in this, but especially great in the final episode. Sehee is such a despicable villain and Yeom Jungah was great to watch as Sehee, especially in the last two episodes where she needed to shift to a different emotional state. Would recommend to action fans and if you like fast-paced action, fight scenes, guns, found family/squad, moral dilemma, and emotional impact delivered quick but impactfully.
I think it's the contrary. They cut the scenes because of SYK's DUI scandal, not because they regretted what they…
They aired it on the channel but cut it out of OTT upload, meaning they did it after his passing, not after the DUI news came out weeks ago. His final work should not be altered IMO. He is one of the older villain actors we consistently watched and found interesting, even though the scenes were not positive/in his favour they should’ve kept them IMO because he was iconic in these types of roles.
