Goddammit, not me crying for Kim Sehee too? I hate her but her story hurts.
Some people go through pain and become compassionate, and try their best to make sure others don’t go through the same (Ahyun). And some people go through it and start inflicting that same pain upon others to deal with their own (Sehee).
I’m rewatching and I’m BIG MAD. They cut Ahn Jiho’s most powerful scenes. Half his story is gone due to them cutting those scenes out. If you have the guts to write and film something, don’t cower later? Those scenes were crucial to his story and without it most of the story/ending to Juan’s storyline doesn’t make sense/isn’t powerful enough. Those scenes were also some of the last powerful scenes filmed of late actor Song Youngkyu, and they’re just cut out.
I didn’t even mind Jung Hyeon shooting Seoksu because he doesn’t really know him. But Jung Hyeon setting the fire with little Ahyun in there and looking at him, the one person she would have counted on to protect her in case she needed it, hurt a lot. I truly hope he redeems himself (having shot Seoksu at non-fatal points and keeping some escape route open for little Ahyun and the others). I don’t mind ruthless, unrepenting villains, but there were glimpses and moments of him having some heart and humanity.
I’ll be waiting for this (Han Seokku - Bae Hyeonseong) and UDT (Yoon Kyesang - Lee Jungha). Both have a similar premise - solving neighbourhood problems/crimes - and I love older person - younger person bickering, friendship, and growth. Han Seokku and Yoon Kyesang (and Shin Hakyung) have so much friendship chemistry with younger actors, and let them have their shine.
Just curious — do you guys think Jung Hyun is heading toward a redemption arc or not? YES or NO I know it’s…
YES
There have been gaps in his character where he stands for a second to question what he’s doing. The latest being when Sehee was talking to him about when little Ahyun gets pregnant, and he seemed unrobotic and visibly uncomfortable. If for nothing else, I think he will go up against Sehee for little Ahyun’s sake.
BLs are so nice, light, and enjoyable but this baby was suffering in his BL (Heesu In Class 2) too with his absolute cluenessness, liking the wrong guy, doubting why the right guy would like him (Boy wdym? Look at yourself! Fineshyt cute space yapper.), creating problems in his head that weren’t even there. I’m glad Heesu had a happy story though, and I hope Juan finds Eungyeol somehow!
Did I see the preview right? Is him killing them after they confront them setting them up to be seen as serial…
Yes. They’ve been on the run anyway, they’ll just have to run harder. But if Junghyeon has a redemption arc and switches sides, he can confess, testify against Sehee, and free the kids.
Juan, my baby 😭 He has been through so much pain, my heart broke for him. Ahn Jiho, the actor you are!
Rest in Peace, actor Song Youngkyu. Phenomenal screen presence.
Sehee is just unnecessarily cruel and gets off on doing the most heinous things. It’s like she goes the extra mile to be cruel and horrible.
I hope little Ahyun knows what’s up and will be saved by the team, and can also help them get proof/materials about the disposable system from the facility.
I’m glad Lee Naeun is back in acting. Her shaman scenes were so good!
Junghyeon (DEX) out here doing the kids’ work for them, killing off every parent. It’s out of necessity and under Sehee’s command but still. It’s keeping our team’s hands clean while also eliminating those vile creatures.
The original title will get all promo posts banned on socials 😭
Not sure about the triggering part, but on socials like Instagram, writing the original title might violate their community standards because they (the social media algorithms) might pick it up as content related to and catering to pedophiles and ban the posts or accounts. It’s not great for promotion if posts about the show get banned left and right. They are using a mixed name/tag for the show using “i” from Korean (“ai” as in child) and the English word “shopping”.
I love how the photo for The Winning Try episode 4 ratings is just Moon Woong. Yes, that’s it, that’s the plot. His story added so much to the plot and brought the team and coach together in a beautiful, seamless way, plus added Seo Woojin to the squad wonderfully!
ahhh it's the same old FL hates her curls → thinks straight hair = love → tries to impress Kim Hyun → mysterious…
LMFAO
This is tropey but I like when there’s a voice of reason character (like a dad) who makes her realise true love lies in being good friends first (“Your mom, she was so beautiful, but we lasted so long because she was my best friend.”). It makes her ultimate choice seem a little less sudden.
do i smell a love triangle between seongjun, ung and woojin
I think it would be fun if done right! While I would feel bad for Woong, junior-senior romances where the puppy newbie admires the competent senior are so cute, and they grow a little bit through their admiration and experience too.

Me, used to dark thrillers, before watching this: “How brutal can it be?”
Me now: “LORDDDD”

The actor’s Insta is @thekimdan if anyone is looking for it!
