lots of thoughts! at first i was a bit torn on how i felt about the modern day duean being unrecognizable from…
I fear the glasses worked for me. I thought it looked like Keng, yes, but you could've told me it was someone else that just really looked like him, and I honestly would believe you. Actually, it wasn't even the glasses bc even when he took them off and it flashed back and forth between Duean and Phumek, I just couldn't fathom how he managed to make them look so different.
Though to be fair, I remember rewatching The Paradise of Thorns after watching Khemjira and getting more familiar with Keng, and I had pretty much the same reaction there (especially for certain shots), so maybe I just have some weird case of Keng Harit face blindness, idk lol
itās based on a novel so it will end the same way the novel ends lmao
It is not "based on a novel." They literally said they made sure the novel and the series were different to avoid spoilers. I'm pretty sure they talked about that a few months ago. Also, if a GMMTV-series is an original work, they work on the novel simultaneously, and I think the novel is usually based on the script and not the other way around.
If you have access to a VPN and GagaOOLala, I'd recommend watching there if you want to watch/support it on an official platform on release day (or you could wait for it to be uploaded on š“āā ļø websites. Also a viable option imo!)
Edit: Please also see Alex' comment below for how to watch it on YouTube!
This is just me giving a heads-up to the people in the territories where it is set to release on Viki. I've noticed…
There is also a chance that they will still upload it to YouTube first and then it will go on Viki a few days later, which will in turn make the YouTube upload unavailable. This is kind of similar to series like Friendshit Forever and also Girl Rules, where it started airing on YouTube, but then started being uploaded onto Viki X episodes in (starting from the beginning) and subsequently those episodes would start to vanish from YouTube. This is only a hypothesis, however. We won't actually know until the episode airs.
UPDATE: Definitely not this lmfao. They said "fuck Viki viewers in particular."
Just checked and Viki says "Available in 4 days" so it seems like a lot of people might have to wait a…
This is just me giving a heads-up to the people in the territories where it is set to release on Viki. I've noticed Viki is sometimes a bit behind other platform for releases, not sure why other than "it's what the license-agreement says." First time I have seen it with a GMMTV-series though, but they also only recently started dropping them on Viki from release, so there isn't exactly a lot to go by...
Just checked and Viki says "Available in 4 days" so it seems like a lot of people might have to wait a few more days if they want to watch it legally. I'm just gonna use a VPN and watch on Gaga insteadāļø
GMMTV's main demographics are teens, and high school and university are some of the settings most people can relate to in general. It's the same reason why a lot of anime are about high schoolers.
and how do you thinkthis would be possiblei understand whyyou come to yoursuggestionbutthere are contractsthat…
Absolutely! The point I am trying to make is that neither did SKNN fans until they saw some kind of benefit from it by weaponizing her against other queer peopleāAFTER Gaga announced they removed Wu from their platform. They had several days to bring her up, but no one (or at least very few) from either side did.
