I never said anything about that. I merely tried to say that asking to kiss an artist's cheek will likely just make it awkard most of the time and they will also most likely turn you down for their own safety. That's why there are certain guidelines during events and stuff. It's very much behavior they don't want to encourage. Hugging can be okay depending on the situation, though, and you can definitely ask for that!

Depending on the situation you might be able to get a hug, but please do not make it awkward and ask if you can kiss him on the cheek. Just because other fans do it, doesn't actually make it acceptable behavior. Imagine if some complete stranger came up to you and asked to kiss your cheek. How would that make you feel?

This mainly applies to GMMTV series in particular, but even they sometimes do cut certain scenes a bit short (Revamp in particular comes to mind, but also some episodes were unnaturally longer than the iQIYI version for some reason so I genuinely don't know what to think anymore.) Not to be confused with the actual cut version which is whatever airs on Thai TV.

Some Gaga subs are better than others, I guess, but for the most part they are quite subpar...

Not saying it would be impossible, but based on the subs I have access to, it might be a bit difficult for Gaga to distribute and sub this series. Most things would go over the head of non-Japanese viewers without T/Ns, and the subs I have access to have A LOT of them. Since Gaga subs are strictly .srt and don't have any kind of formatting, it would most likely make the subs feel very cluttered and make it hard to read.

Because I am open to being proven wrong. Hell, I WANT to be proven wrong. I just know they could've gone for a different approach and not just literally copy the Thai version. I want it to be better. Compare the opening sequence of both versions. They are shot-for-shot the exact same. Sure, angles are somewhat different, but they show the exact same thing. Now compare the opening sequence of the different versions of Ossan's Love, My Love Mix-Up and Cherry Magic and understand that they could absolutely do things differently with this version of TBNW despite using the same source material, but they just didn't for some reason.

No, I genuinely want to know, though. In what way is this different to the Thai version? Because I don't think you quite understand what I mean and where I am coming from and you merely dismiss it as "my opinion" when it just objectively IS the same but set in Japan. Please look at the three different versions of Ossan's Love and you will see exactly what I mean. They are all different versions of the same story, but unlike TBNW JP, those actually all have their own identities. This is just the same story (with some minor differences) in a different font. It's fine if you like it, I didn't say you couldn't, but you have to look at it more objectively.

I expect them to be similar, but when some parts are basically shot-for-shot the same, why even make a separate version at that point? Look at the reverse. Do you notice how the Thai adaptations of Japanese BLs usually actually have their own identity despite being based on the same source material?

Well yes, because the runtime for Japanese episodes is drastically shorter than Thai ones. It's not about it being 100% like the Thai version, it's about how it has 0 identity of its own. Sure some things are changed, but when a lot of it is almost shot-for-shot the exact same, genuinely what is the point? Hell, all three main versions of Ossan's Love (JP, HK, TH) feel drastically different and despite telling the same story, they all have their own identity.

I thought this was about the other Fluke he was originally paired with for this series...
