Because you called it queerbait when I very specifically said it wasn't and it felt like you didn't listen to what I actually said. Yuribait ≠ queerbait. That's been my entire argument all along.
I literally called this yuribait from day 1???? I am NOT the one you should preach to about this. We are practically on the same page; I just disagree witht you calling it queerbait, because BY DEFINITION it isn't. Hope that helps. Now please go preach at someone else.
imply what? na literally slept with leemhai TWICE. it doesn't have to end with them in a relationship for it to…
I never called this queerbait. But it IS yuribait. Please get it right. Not because they don't get together at the end, but because they leave it vague as if they didn't want to confirm that yes they do in fact get together. If it was "doomed yuri" (saw a comment mentioning that earlier), why would they leave it at a hopeful ending? Where is the doom in that?
It's like they didn't have the guts to stick the landing either way, and went for the safe vague middle ground.
Hello, guess who remembered! Queerbait, it is not, because Leemhai is very much sapphic (if not strictly lesbian), and the only intimate scenes are between the two women, HOWEVER, endgame-wise it's kind of open leaning towards sapphic, but not directly showed. Do with that what you will.
I fear this show has fallen into the trap of telling us rather than showing us. We spent so much time on the present…
I heard there will no longer be a special episode and it will instead be 12 episodes, so in fact we have 3 episodes left. Not that it changes a lot about your comment, just wanted to correct it since it doesn't appear to have been updated on MDL yet.
I don't think it was ever scheduled to air on the 31st as new years is a national holiday in Thailand, and so…
Oh no, I don't think it's an error on your part, but one important thing to keep in mind, is that MDL is not an official source. Most likely what happened is that whoever added the dates in the first place just added the starting date and added the amount of episodes and failed to account for the holidays, and then it got edited as we got closer to new years.
Hey so uhhh, am I the only one that was kind of weirded out by that one kitchen scene? Especially with them trying to play it off as something silly with the sound effects.
Do not get me wrong, in a real-life context, I see no problem with it, it's the way it was filmed and presented to the viewers that really bothers me.
My bad, I forgot a comma. Let me go fix that.
It's like they didn't have the guts to stick the landing either way, and went for the safe vague middle ground.
Yes, they implied it, but that's too vague and comes off as them not directly wanting to make it sapphic in the end.
Happy new year to you as well!
