I am sorry. I will not discuss your opinion. However, writing a review when you only watched 4/16 episodes, it's to say the exposition scenes, is just not credible.

Yes, I understand you. I loved "love of nirvana", this is one of my favs, so I think that I will love this drama too.

@ReginaDeSa Aesthetically, the appearance of Luo Mei is meaningful and beautiful. ( If she was a common bride attending her loving husband's death penalty poisoning.) But, historically, it is disappointing to witness a badass general becoming a lover girl for a scoundrel like Murong XuanLie.
Hopefully, she will redeem herself on the next episodes.

I agree with you, I like the fact that the male lead is a fake villian but a true saviour for the great good.

I can understand the toxic romance at the begining. But I am not here to watch the novel re-enacted.
I am happy that the drama crew added their own understanding and point of view.
If I want to read the novel. I can still be surprised.

YQ will cause trouble for sure. I haven't watch the 24th episode yet. I am about to. But I believe a war will break out soon.
