The story was very entertaining to me until Male Lead desappears halfway. They even add a weird story just before the end like he could loose all his senses, just to save screentime without him (healing his ankle) in my opinion. So he had to hide from Female Lead even more.
I watched "the beauty inside" which they bought the rights to make this drama. The general story is the same for the leads, up to the middle of the show. After that it changes.
I forgive them and I liked the drama despite all the "drama" that occured on set.

The director showed their daughter wearing the jade pendant. If you refuse to believe what the proper director and crew officially aired. I am sorry, but their work in the drama speaks for itself. Episode 40: Remember, Xue Feng Fei said that if she becomes a widow she will tie her hair and go play in a shrire for the rest of her life. What do we see at the end of the show? At the end there is an eclipse + a man on horseback. We just saw Choi Ji Mong (King's astronomer) living the palace passing through the door before. We know that he is going to travel back in time. And Wang So swears to go find her. Following that, this is where the man on horseback+ ecclipse galloping is shown.
The storytelling tells me that Wang So is travelling to meet her. It is the same man on horseback.

And that he regreted all the things he did to Xue Feng Fei. I even remember that I was kindly scolded here in the forum because MDL members asked me to stop pitying him.
The actor (Liang Yong QI)'s rendition of SYR is superb. I want to see him as a Male Lead in another drama.
