Kim Soo Hyun earned his Baeksang nomination this episode. He was just amazing the entire episode. Kim Ji Won really…
I never really got the hype about SooHyun before and why he is the highest paid actor in Korea. But I see now that he really is a good actor with a wide range of style.
He's effective in both comedy and drama, the microexpressions and emotions thru the eyes are always on point. Few actors have this skill (Lee JoonGi being one of them, but even fewer actors can do so in different genres).
Plus the fact that he really knows how to pick his projects.

Compared to other Kdrama chaebol families, I personally think Hae-in's family isn't that bad. The 'rich girl,…
true, I actually thought the baby topic was one of the secret that Hae-in would reveal. Seems they were really saving the baby arc part for the last episodes.

funny how people still refer to EunSeong's character as his colorblind character in The Glory haha
Unpopular opinion, but I do not really hate him, specially few episodes back.
If you flip the script, he fits the bill as the usual toxic obsessed anti-hero red flag MLs in my (guilty pleasure) dramas, manhwas and novel hahaha

Oh yes for sure, I was a big believer in the series, but it is getting frustrating. If a series doesn't leave…
Me too. For me it depends on the tone set that is consistent with a series. If it's a realistic drama then I get it if the ending is realistically sad too.
But I genuinely dislike it when writers rely on many creative liberties and cliches during a drama and then suddenly set a different tone for the ending just for shock factor.

If either one of them dies, I have a feeling the rating here will plummet.
it's already cliche on many parts, so I hope writer really just gives a happy ending.

I believed the trampling of their marriage was due to Hae In's family. If you remembered how her mother was against…
Compared to other Kdrama chaebol families, I personally think Hae-in's family isn't that bad. The 'rich girl, poor boy' aspect wasn't dragged, they got married and they even recognise Hyunwoo's skills as a lawyer. Them suffocating Hyunwoo wasn't necessarily because they were malicious bad people but rather it's simply their upbringing and the only way of life they've ever known.

I think it was quite clear ML and FL's relationship started deteriorating after the miscarriage, I'm still curious why Hae-in thinks it was her fault and thus she didn't give herself the right to grieve. Was it from being workaholic or perhaps Ms Moh has something to do with it. In essence, it is the lack of communication and both their personality that was the main cause. No one wanted to initiate and lower their guard. This is what Hyunwoo mentioned when said something about tending to wounds as soon as possible and not letting it fester.

Ep13 feels like a filler episode.
And let me guess, EunSeong will kidnap her after the surgery and pretend to be her husband. lol I hope they don't go this direction.

Still waiting for them to address the miscarriage part.

Who all caught the “liberal” sub for “American style”? 😭 I thought that was hilarious as an American…
sorry, what were you referring to? I think sub was okay.

I forgot the last Kdrama I watched as I have been more interested in Cdramas lately. I felt Kdramas lost their touch, always you will see hyped trending dramas but when you watch them they end up boring.

I must say Queen of Tears has been a surprised. Please don't mind the people who say it is overrated and give it a chance. It is good but it is not perfect. I can name some other dramas that are better than this.
But what made it stand out is that it is reminiscent of the classic Kdrama vibes, back when they had addictive storylines and pacing. I guess for those who got tired and disappointed by the previous Kdrama releases, this was really a breath of fresh air. Ironic that it is nostalgic and yet felt new at the same time.

I must be crazy because a part of me feel for Eunsoong hahaha
In alternate dramas he's one of those obsessed, psychopathic, anti-hero, toxic MLs.

I'm on ep8, I just don't get why HyunWoo's assistant is cooperating with Yoon EunSoong. He doesn't seem to be a bad guy though and seems genuinely apologetic when caught. Did I miss something?

I'm only episode 2, I know I'm late to the party haha
I remember some weeks back I saw comments on clips that were upset ML seems too happy that she's dying, I thought it would bother me too. But it turns out I kinda understand ML. And I guess the biggest factor is that it hasn't sinked in yet to both of them. FL mentioned it so nonchalantly and never showed any signs of weakness, therefore, the idea of her dying still seems abstract to ML.
I dare say had FL broken down, no matter how deep ML's resentment is, he would have reacted differently too.

Before I get into this… Those who are watching, do you think it would be rated much lower if it wasn’t Mark…
personally, not even Mark and Yaya can make me get hooked into this drama.
I'm dropping it, maybe I'll just wait till it finish airing for the overall consensus

ep 23 now. why is the Heavenly Lord so goofy lol He doesn't look authoritative at all. He's like one of those earth gnomes. If I were the enemy, I would also attack them, minus XingZhi they look weak af.

I'm on episode 20 now. I'm liking it, I've seen so many Xianxia over the years but this one finally captured the same vibes as TMOPB, although it doesn't have that angst and emotional impact (yet?). It's the kind of series where you will be annoyed about filler and world building scenes if you don't feel attached to it, but when you get hooked, you will appreciate even the little nonsense antics in the realms.

It's like a reimagined version of Dijun and BaiQian being a couple instead. But I do think ShenLi is more likeable than BaiQian. Dijun and XingZhi on the other hand are exactly the same.

it's a bit underwhelming for me.
I wish they had a better plot.
Or just a random thought, I wish Yaya and Mark do a remake of the Taiwanese drama Autumn Concerto.
They will be perfect.

ML's character reminds me a lot of Dijun, well I guess they kinda have the same standing in all realms.
Living the longest really makes one passive, bored and unbothered. And then they become playful when something peak their interest.
haha

At least 10000 years
I know he's an ancient god. I'm referring to his mortal age, how old was he supposed to be in ep1

hello, not too much spoiler pls as I'm only ep7.
But can somebody tell me how old is ML supposed to be in the beginning episode(his mortal age during that life)? I thought he was supposed to be 20 yr old based on the dried leaf logs. He seemed to have gotten really old before his mortal death, but it was said only 30yrs had passed in mortal realm. Did I misunderstood the age on the leaf? Or did ShenLi spend decades with him instead of only weeks?
