I think they got further in age. :)
DH aged 5 more years whereas GW did not. and iirc, DH was already older to begin with.

No, his son summoned him at the moment just before the explosion. He was never stuck in the past or dad. The people…
I think she didn't need to. Nuri already knows she's talking about GwiJu from 18 years ago. And 18 years ago, the fire incident was the only time his parents were in contact. :)

if we go by that theory and then how did he summon he get his ball back from yesterday like i doubt he had a pic…
I love scifi and time travel plots when done right.haha
let me add my thoughts on how I believe Nuri's power work.
Yeah, I think he's pretty OP, he can scan space and time and 'move objects' around. To put some parameters into his power, he probably needs something like an anchor on whose memories to 'browse thru'. And in this case it was his Mom, and he knows she's talking about his Dad. Luckily, 18 years ago, during the fire, that was the only point of contact between GwiJu and DaHae. So even as a 4 year old he knows in which moment to grab his Dad from.
Now I don't know whether he physically transports. My imagination says it's like with his Dads case (like how gray everything was that he cannot touch anything), almost like he creates an alternate dimension. That's what probably kept him safe from the fire, I'm thinking he simply moved his Dad to that dimension, held his hand and then brought him to the present.

i love how we see gwi ju smiling at dae he in ep 11 from the future, further confirmation that he is alive and…
yes.. we can't let the audience think he's a ghost haha
but imagine his confusion that he blipped to 5 years in the future.

Does he even have free will?? His actions did not strike me as something that was done from his own free will.…
The time travel rules for this drama is they do not create alternate timelines. It is one line but with loops. I think your thoughts about their free will is similar to what DongHee said, their actions are being influenced by hints about their future that inadvertently it becomes a self fulfilling prophecy. I likened it to predestination, the past, present and future are already set regardless of what action one takes. So it's true, it might seem just an illusion of choice.

And with Nuri, there were heavy hints in the script. I think you can rewatch the scene were they were emphasizing the missing ball. Dahae said it was missing and she asked him where he found it, and he keeps talking about yesterdays. It's also a paradox. He took it from the past because it was missing, and it was missing in the past because his future self took it.
But yeah, this exactly fits on how Gwiju was saved.

I really wish this had more focus on the family rather than the main couple.
I think Bok Family was explored pretty well. The only thing that I feel missing is the backstory for the Scammer Fam, we only saw DaHae's story and knew almost nothing from the other members (I'm curious about Uncle's past). Although, it might be deliberate that they skipped this to keep audience curious whether they are truly 'bad' or not.

I'm trying to make sense of the ending. But from my understanding Bok-Nuri's power is to be able to move object thru space and time (like an upgraded version of his Dad's power). For example with the ball, he took it from the past (like 2 days ago) so the previous day it was missing. Same thing happened to his Dad, he used his Mom as an anchor to go to 18 years ago and grabbed his Dad to present. So the gap in between Gwi Ju was declared missing, basically everyone aged 5 years except him. It was predestined to have him delivered to the future, otherwise he would have been crushed by the wall or burnt in the explosion.. Brilliant writing I may say.

That's one dangerous power for a kid to have. If anything goes missing from now on, it's most likely future Nuri took it with him.lol

I've been a fan of GongJun since 'Begin Again' although I believe his best work was 'Rising with the Wind'. And TMOPB is what got me to Cdramas so I always have a soft spot for YangMi. I like both leads, but this drama is just not doing it for me.
I guess the initial anticipation and high expectation is what is killing the ratings.
As opposed to previously under the radar dramas like 'The Double' that came out as a pleasant surprise.

It also doesn’t help that the ml is only 22.
I haven't caught up on all episodes but with these dramas usually ML is older.
She looks to be 8 to maximum 10 years old when she was sent away, plus 10 years that passed. She should only be max 20 years old. I'm guessing she's also only supposed to still be a teen.
Acting is good, but can't help that the visual disrupts the immersive experience.

I think ML also looks matured for his age. However, in his case it fits the character profile.
FL actress is pretty when on modern style, but here she looks around the same age as the stepmum. And the original JiangLi looks really young too, so the contrast is very jarring.

It's really interesting. Although, I sometimes struggle with how matured the FL looks. It doesn't help that the rest of the cast like the stepmum and the father doesn't really look old enough to be her parents' age.

Can you recommend me some of her dramas?
Fated to Love You is what first comes to mind. It's an international hit that had been remade a couple of times already as well.

why didn't I realise sooner that the stepmum is Joe Chen, the famous actress on many hit Taiwanese dramas. lol

episode 3 now,
I'll be honest, the FL looks really matured for the age of the character she's supposed to be playing. She reminds me of Zhou Yutong.
Nonetheless, the acting is really good.

On the other hand, I was also quite surprised that ML is only 22 in real life. I can't see him playing teenage characters like how FeiYu, WuLei and Dylan (who are in the same age bracket as him) are able to do it convincingly. These mature roles indeed suit him, wish they just toned it down with the flashy peacock red and aimless fanning. He's good with the role already and no need to overdo it with trying to be imposing.

some of the premise are over-dramatically silly, nonetheless, I'm very intrigued.

GwiJu is just so mentally weak and fragile.
This is really one good plot/script because to be honest, the characters are too flawed. It's really the intriguing events that keeps you going. Definitely refreshing from other series.

I can't get my head around why Do Hae will disappear if he doesn't save her. Time travel is indeed complicated.…
it always depends on the writer on what rules they established when in comes to time travelling. However, it seems here that everything is already fixed and they will not use alternate universe. So there is no way that DaHae will disappear since GwiJu 'already' saved her. No matter how they try to change that, the events will always fall into place.

And yeah, I'm also interested if there is any special reason why DaHae is the only one GwiJu can see.

This is the biggest drama let down. Can't believe I waited years for this. Still, I'm hoping for another project for Mark and Yaya (this time with a GOOD plot and script please)...
