Err, since you've watched to the latest update then I'm baffled by what you are saying. There's enough evidence…
Yeah….now that there’s a waiting for new eps, I find myself reluctant to continue when the new ones air. Honestly if I hadn’t watch so many of similar dramas in the past I probably would have enjoyed it.
If you watch his drama more from the understanding perspective rather than criticism ,, you will like it more.…
I’ve seen all the eps available to date which is up to 26. All I can say is that no one starts a show they’re eager to watch from a criticism point of view…..otherwise I wouldn’t start it in the 1st place. Yes? Yeah I probably should have dropped it early on & save myself the disappointment but I kept at it in the hopes that it will get better. Ofcourse my criticism is directed on the romance plot not the actors themselves….if you check my watch list, I’ve seen enough of similar dramas to warrant the upset. 😩 The leads performances is ok in my opinion & they are somewhat keeping me going but honestly only disappointed that the writers would write their characters like this which I think is a total waste. I simply can’t get past how cliché it is.
Honestly never understood why C-dramas love to write whole plots of misunderstandings over the silliest of things 😩🤦🏻♀️ I try to watch at least 1 or 2 romance base C-drama a year hoping it’s something different but nope…..same issues different drama! -ML turns into a communication bozo & FL an insecure yo-yo. -Clingy egotistic SFL that gets her way because she’s “fragile”. -SML that seem decent yet doesn’t know how to read the room….especially when FL would rather self destruct than think about moving on. -Let’s not forget the all knowing & annoying theme of. ‘Breakup for your lover’s sake so they won’t stress’ 🙄
Really didn’t mean to rant…but honestly expected better storyline for this cast but got a tiring repetitive plot line instead. What a waste!
I suspected he was Big Mouse from the messages in jail…I mean that was a big hint and no one questioning it got me suspicious enough lol so by halfway I was certain. The ending was good…it opens a lot of possibilities for a good 2nd season plot.
is it really necessary to make her die? the ending was a mess. I hate that last min so called satisfying ending
You have to look at it from a different point of view that can also open this drama into more or even better seasons. She’s his weakness & motivation. Plot needed him to be BM..he can’t have weaknesses & her death is his motivation to cross that Line. Line- meaning Kill. We watched him through out the whole drama fought the worst kinda bad guys without stooping to their level (still fails even though they did everything by the book & the truth was revealed) & some in the organisation regards him as weak for not crossing that line….so that last min ending you referred to is so much more than it seems. Original BM we saw was actually not that bad of a guy but even he knew he had to kill in order to fight those kind a bad guys. Now there is nothing stopping ML from embracing his new role & continuing with the organisation.
The only reason I have not yet decided to watch the drama is because of the ending....😞
In my opinion ending made sense…Chang Ho needed that push to completely embrace his new role. Sucks but I can see where the writers needed to lead the plot. Otherwise ML wouldn’t have done what he did in the end to finally complete his revenge.
Weird that I’ve been keeping taps on new dramas yet this drama never popped up…..it was only by coincidence that I came by this great watch. They don’t advertise it enough.
American- Criminal Minds show is one of my favourite & this drama is exactly that except we get to see the hardships & finally acceptance when such a concept gets introduced into the force. What made this enjoyable is the fact that it never focused on that one major case….the plot brings up a criminal & the team works on the case then moves on..every case intense. I especially enjoyed the parts where annoying characters were dealt with soon after. 😅 It’s almost like you’re watching a documentary…it’s realistic & the characters especially the police ones are seen as normal ppl. There’s no unrealistic coincidences & no unreasonable twists. The crimes although can be hard to grasp but the actual violent scenes are never really fully shown…I especially like how they don’t go into too much details on that guy with missing fingers. I dread such cases & everything the drama showcase tells the audience exactly what the crime is but they never once directly highlighted it to the victim shown except in vague reference to the criminal’s past history. 😮💨
This is not like your normal cop show where you see corruptions/ power struggle, high statues positions occupied by rich men that never gets involves with the cases & cops that takes hierarchy way too seriously….all I saw here are real struggles & pressure the whole station goes through when confronted with serious cases. And the process, time & ppl involved in solving the cases are realistic yet exciting to follow. So yes…Glad I found this…if you’re hesitant to believe it’s high rating than I can honestly say it’s deserving 👌🏼
If the ML is not eye candy many people dont watch... but seriously you should give it a go, unless you like only…
No I like hearing honest opinions…Some of my favourite dramas were recommendations on this site & it honestly surprises me that I passed them up many times before someone convinced me lol By the way I had a quick peek at your watch list & I think You are my Glory won’t be your cup of tea..same as Untame but 10 Miles of PB could be depending on your mood lol Although I do feel that Ashes of Love is a drama you might actually enjoy since it’s similar to some of your high rated dramas….that is if you’re happy with the leads.

Yeah clips I’ve seen gave off obvious & slapstick comedy which isn’t really my style but the plot was interesting when I checked it out. But thanks anyhow will probably give it a try when the timing is right.

Yeah I’m putting it aside right now cause I just finished watching JOL so the memories are still fresh but it’ll eventually fade. I mostly like romance but only if it’s 2nd or 3rd priority in an already good serious plot. I’m more into ‘any’ creative plot either dark or light with hopefully some good witty or deadpan humour. But it’s weird that you mentioned brawns & brains cause both descriptions are the last things I would describe this drama after watching the trailers 🤔 Interesting!
Not as good as those you mentioned but pretty good. It reminds me more of something like Tell me What You Saw…
Keep in mind that the main point that started this drama is based on a true event. So I’ll say plot wise would be more like Mouse in a sense…that is if I have to compare it to the ones you’ve mentioned.
What! Just noticed that….it used to say Naksu/Mu Duk!And having So Min in the guest role was a good indication…
Funny enough I think that particular part of her character was what made me love this drama! Because she was trying to be low key & submissive yet often fails in doing so, a lot of her interactions with other characters easily turned into a great watch!
Thought it was just me. 1st ep was fine but start seeing it from ep 2 - 15Can’t remember when but wasn’t noticeable…
Yes….it was the same for me. First few episodes were defitnily lacking & came off too comical in a cheap way. I like humour but for this particular plot it also needed a sense of seriousness… eg Ach of Souls. Of course like I mentioned it got better & I settled in nicely with its flow. One thing for sure was that even though I wasn’t even 100% liking it, I found myself thinking abt it often after finishing it. This is rare for me. It definitely got me curious enough now for the next season.
