I like it….something different and very realistic!

I did the same…couldn’t relate or like the characters….I picked it up again after I saw a short clip on fb, skipped to ep 3 and it started to slowly drew me in till it got addictive.
I cried, laughed & loved the meaningful lessons behind every episode and the fact that I’m not a fan of FL didn’t stop me from loving it.
I’ll suggest to give it another shot if you have nothing else to watch

Oh didn’t know it was different directors….yeah he’s definitely less appealing in S2

What I thought too…besides I felt like the leads would have been together long before if the ML would just communicate better with her!
He created so many misunderstandings instead of correcting her & even just let her start relationships with others when he could have asked her out.

Right!!!! I started watching not knowing it was a movie….I loved it from the first minute so when things started progressing a bit quickly I went to checked only to find out it’s a movie :(
I wanted more even at the end

I’m so picky with romance and yet this realistic plot and characters with its wow twist at the end was so satisfying to watch.
I love the ending…It’s exactly what I was hoping for which will be a first for me!
The scene @ 1:20:40 when he did that, it got me so bad in the chest :/ …so I was so glad our FL turned out to be a savage lmao
I wished it was longer…wanted an extension to see what more he was gonna do lol

I never said they always have to be sexy...I preferred them mostly innocent and naive but this role and the intensity of the ML’s attraction to her just doesn’t suit the naive, cutesy innocent type.
It just comes out unrealistic sometimes when they do intimate scenes together.

Had a good start...but honestly even though the FL was cute I felt that she didn’t suit the role next to this ML.
It probably would have suited someone more perky with a little more sex appeal and less innocent overall...someone like Rosy Zhao perhaps.
Too many lead couples got annoying towards the second half and I did most of the skipping from then on all the way to the end...it just lost its zest for me.
In regards to chemistry I still preferred the Korean version.
Overall a bit disappointed...only thing good was ML.

Not everyone is gonna like this but I’m a passionate type of romance drama kinda girl but watching this drama was a good break for some much needed mellow sweet romance.
It’s not my favourite but it was a good watch...Especially when I already went in knowing it’s not gonna be your normal romance.
If you start watching knowing what’s to expect then you will see the beauty of the drama.
P.s totally don’t agree with comments that FL is bland...she’s unique and sweet & yes boring to some but most certainly not bland!

I Iove that they didn’t stick to the typical self righteous leads!
Realistically you can’t fight that type of evil without dapping your toes in darkness yourself!
Very smart leads....win win ratio for the good guys was a feel good and the bad guys getting exactly what they deserve got me wide eye everytime but satisfied!!

Good drama...just a bit dissatisfied with FL.
Started out good but when the romance hit serious I just didn’t feel it with her!
Drama tried too hard but it was okay for a chill watch

No major breakup that I remember...they had some issues but it was sorted not long after

For me the leads interactions made this drama! It’s realistic and fun to watch.
The plot is simple so don’t go in expecting dramatics but it can keep you entertained enough to the end.
There’s 45 episodes but they are short so 2 episodes usually makes for 1 normal one.
If you’re after romance then I recommend this for you...their chemistry and how they are together is how you’ll want every romance leads to act ;)
Zhang Han was always a fav of mine...here I like how he’s character is serious yet you can see a lighter version of him with FL and after this I’m now a fan of Lulu Xu so I’ll be on the look out for more of her work.

Yes! It was very obvious who she chose by the continuous support she gave the ML...he played his role of innocent, adorable yet knows what he wants from her very well!

I wonder how they did the auditions lol....I mean they must have asked everyone at first if they can cry on cue.
Everyone here down to the Kid had a crying scene at some point

Great start....exciting plot but then the boredom triggered midway just to pick up again on those last episodes.
Honestly the romance kinda ruined it for me here and that’s saying a lot cause it’s my fav genre..maybe she’s too pitiful a character for a romance and just can’t cheer for her.
But happy overall especially our ML doing his thang

Actually I’ve tried this 3 times and felt the same...I’m a romantic but just can’t dig it here and around ep 8 or so I start feeling bored.
But honestly it kinda picked up for me around ep 12 this time and by the last 2 episodes I was fully watching without skipping.
