I think I got hand fetish from both male leads lmao....FL’s boss nearly got me cheering for them but Daddi Tang was just too good doing his thing! Sometimes we just need a good simple fluffy romance that comes out as serious love with great actings.... not like those cringe & over the top fluffy ones
Plot doesn’t explained the “title”, it’s purpose & origins! In fact plot would probably go well without it in my opinion....honestly I lost interests in the last few episodes but it was still ok for passing time.
if the 'real' hanshuo you are talking about is the one in the dream i'm pretty sure that he died after she left…
Yeah...I ment him in the game, as the one in the end was Mr Han not her Hanshuo....if that’s the case you saw then it’s kind of a bittersweet ending, at least one of them is happy ;)
I don't much care about physical aspects of love and actually like stories where we see and feel deep love just…
Yeah still shaking my head over...kept thinking a person with such pure intentions would never have survived long if it was reality in that time & place
Considering I’m so critical when it comes to romance this one was actually a very good watch! It’s so underrated & I’m glad I didn’t listen to the bad reviews this time. Note: The plot focuses on second chances & it’s only 20 episodes so don’t go in expecting to see the leads full journey to love, then falling apart & then that 2nd chance again! First few episodes is just like a Prologue explaining how they met to their marriage before the story starts.
Happy to admit that this is the probably the 3rd ever drama that I was equally invested in the second Main couple! I’ve noticed that the low rating is most likely from ppl comparing the 2 couples but I absolutely love how the writer kept the 1st main couples’ relationship on the realistic side and the 2nd main couple was more like the mainstream romance we usually get...which is why most of the audience lost some interest in our main & it’s real message. But of course like most things our high expectations & comparison can ruin the Good shown to us.
Overall I like the seriousness, the messages & the adult realistic view this drama took...but unlike most realistic plots this one was actually Romantic!!
I bit disappointed on how they cast the ML...don’t get me wrong, I’m a fan of his but to be honest I just don’t think he suited acting cute the whole time and made worse knowing he’s obsession plot within this alternative life, it just came out creepy at first and trying too hard. I know they did this cause many were against his cold character in Season 1 but it suited him better than being goofy the whole time! Wouldn’t mind it if they let him play his cold side a little longer in the beginning
someone help! do i need to watch s1 to understand s2 of this drama? i can't find s1 so i just wanna start s2
Nope...you don’t need to. Although Season 2 has the same cast it’s not a continuation from Season 1. It’s more an alternative life and coming together under different circumstances. I’m pretty certain Season 1 is a Netflix Original so finding it on other platforms would be hard.
Predictable & a bit slow on the 2nd half but giving it some good marks for the fact that the plot & writing of the romance interactions between main & also the directors’ were realistic...meaning they didn’t pretend that love means only holding hands & forehead kisses for months & months of dating or living together or that men never think about “it” and that nice/good girls never crave financial security & money!
Honest opinion? I’m a fan of FL and although ML did a decent job, I just couldn’t find their chemistry in 80% of their script together, I just found him adorably too young for his 19 yr old role and looking too boyish for some of the intimate scenes. But I found plot so refreshingly fun to follow with a few good laughs. Did find it a bit weird that although at the end FL found the “version” of her love.....my thoughts were for Hanshuo left behind since we see that Mr Han (the actor) in the modern world only had fleeting visions of his character Hanshuo with Qian Qian after hitting his head. So what happened to the real Hanshuo after she left his world?
wow 4th time?? then it must be good... i also skip when watching too long i just go for main lead.. but is it…
Yes....there’s a lot of chemistry in the way he looks at her & jealousy from his side and efforts to understand or make her happy. And her progress in realising it. Also a fan fav is that he always protects her emotionally & physically...you’ll know what I mean when you watch it. Top it off is that good twist in the end will defitnily get you to rewatched it!
I only felt it was a bit forced on her side...for him it’s different considering he’s pretty much watched her from afar for years. But then again on her defence it could be that she’s just like most ppl that makes spontaneous decisions or immediate connections when vulnerable (when she lost all hope believing her mum was killed by rouge detective) ...and especially when she knows that the only other person she can turn to & understand her grief was him.
This drama is so frustrating to me. I love both Lee Joon Gi and Seo Ye Ji but I am in episode 6 and it is SO disappointing…
That’s weird...I got the opposite vibe...but then again I don’t watch many “Korean law” genres drama from a lawyer point of view. Still that little that I know made this drama makes sense for me. But perhaps I get it...I’ve often felt let down on a good high rated drama with a genre I’m highly familiar with simply because i know it & so take the plot seriously. I suppose each to their own ..but I do agree with the accent though lol
Wow! As someone that takes romance as a priority in my dramas I was actually pleasantly surprised in how hooked I was to this one! Don’t get me wrong...the Leads’ romance was a good watch but I found myself enjoying the undertaking of revenge/justice even more. So what if some parts are a bit predictable like some reviews mentioned?...at least the predictable parts was fun to watch. So what if some plots & characters were a bit clueless??...if you don’t take it too seriously, you’ll realised that in real life & under some circumstances that it’s understandable & very possible to be clueless. Another highlight for me is that this show is one of those rare ones where you want the bad guys to pay for their unforgivable crimes since their reasons of committing them were very selfish, yet I could not bring myself to hate them lol Although I would have given this drama a 9 overall which is usually my highest for dramas I enjoyed...I decided in the end that it deserves a 10 since its rare that I never hit that skipping button, that I got hooked on more than 2 genres plus the fact that every character here was a good watch and not to mentioned that I can’t seem to have enough of them! I definitely need another for more!!!
This drama felt like it was written by 2 different writers....it started as a fluffy, cheerful & youthful romance plot all through out then Bam!....just like that it turned into a melodrama. There’s was no warning at all. While I was scratching my head in shock, just seconds later the plot took a serious turn. I’ll admit that I needed something light to watch for now, so yeah was just chilling watching it...but those last 5 episodes although felt rushed on one hand, it did got me paying real attention trying not to miss the crazy direction the writers were aiming for. Although I disapproved of some of the plot decisions that were made, I actually liked that type of serious development it took the characters towards. Yes..especially preferred the matured ML version over his immature but cute younger self. If there is a season 2 that continues from those last episodes...minus that annoying Shen character...then I’ll definitely book it in for a watch! Either way I’m happy with its ending here.

Paranoid mad man is the better description.
