I dropped Love O2O after 16 eps and forgot to continue watching You Are My Glory... once I remembered, I relegated it to my "On Hold" section, where it'll probably stay forever because I feel bad to just throw it into my Dropped section LOL
I don't really understand the hype. I know C-dramas are pretty unrealistic, but these two were way TOO unrealistic and not in a good way, either. I wouldn't say they were BAD... there was just no hook. You could drop the drama at any point and you wouldn't feel like you were missing anything. The leads are almost always on good terms and the games just keep going on and on. It was fun to watch the games, but once the novelty wore off, it was easy to forget to continue watching. This is all just my opinion, ofc. They're very well-produced dramas :)
I'm on episode 2 and that Hae Ri(the rich woman who likes the golf player) is annoying the HECK out of me. Can someone please tell me if she changes and stop being such an entitled whiner?
I seriously doubt I'll be able to survive the wait till Saturday... I just HAVE to see Sa Ra's face when YG comes in carrying DD on his back XD also, props to YG for letting DD pay for the treat for the entire family instead of insisting on paying for everything because he's richer. He's adorable.
I really wanna start this show but 50 episodes seem wayyyyyy too neverending
it feels really comfortable to know that there will be two beautiful episodes waiting for me at the end of each week :) I don't like binging such dramas. It's fun to go through them two at a time(though it is TORTURE to wait for more) and live alongside the characters.
I don't know how the writer does it but this drama is so comforting despite the soap opery vibe. Like even if…
yesss I understand how you feel! 😍 I love the little drawings for the OST^^ I'm terrified that the drama will lose steam in the middle but I want to trust the writers to give us one of the best dramas of 2021! goodness, the look in ML's eyes when she hugs him... this drama is really making my heart flutter!
Just saw someone mention the amnesia plot-line and I checked it out on the KBS website and omg, we either have…
I really hope they execute it well. I don't mind tropes as long as they're done well, and writer-nims have been doing REALLY well with all the tropes in this one! Can't wait for more eps!
I like the increase in disability-themed j-dramas/movies. I know it's because Japan became almost barrier-free in preparation for the Paralympics, but the stories are all so heartwarming. Loved "Your Eyes Tell" and "Perfect World(both drama and movie)," and now this one!
Usually dramas over 40 episodes are uploaded on a daily basis and finished within a month but this one takes at…
Those are Chinese dramas. This is a Korean weekend family drama. It's a different genre/type from the mainstream kdramas you're used to(you can compare it to a soap opera/family sitcom). They air only over the weekend and their target audience is the entire family or more of the older viewers. That's why it has an average 26-27% viewership when other weekday kdramas reach a maximum of 12-15% if they're REALLY popular.
I don't watch soap operas/family dramas but there is something about this that makes me want to keep watching, same…
I think she may have just been desperate to be near her son at first, but now she definitely has a crush on him. The lingerie thing and the way she reacted was totally like an infatuated person.
ok 10 eps in and I am OBSESSED... and I'll try to explain exactly why. 1. The writers know how to INDULGE the viewers. The main couple haven't even fully realized whether they have feelings for each other but they're already making my heart flutter and melt and just explode from cuteness. 2. The pacing is fantastic. They finish situations that weekday dramas take ten episodes to complete in just one or two eps. They never get tired of bringing up shocking revelation after shocking revelation. The good characters are so refreshingly honest and take responsibility for their mistakes. I ADORE ML for never letting his pride get the best of him. 3. THE TROPES. I never thought I would love them so much. They're predictabke sometimes and unpredictable other times, but the main leads execute it so ADORABLY that I actually WANT the tropes to arrive. It's just so comforting. And the writers give us exactly what we want. Refreshing, different dramas are fun, but there's something so comfortable and heartwarming about a weekend family soap opera. It warms my heart for the hectic week ahead. 4. SEJONG. That boy is an angel and I could watch him all day. The kids are so cute and I love the family moments we get. First the amusement park and now a resort trope!! My heart is so full. This is perfect for a weekend drama. 5. The ML is not your typical CEO. He has such a beautiful smile and he doesn't hesitate to use it. He isn't bashful or proud or arrogant. He's adorable in his own way and that is just so so attractive.
6. The OST. Especially the "Love Always Runs Away" cover/remake by rising star Lim Young Woong. His soulful, heartfelt singing does things to me.
sometimes I ALMOST feel sorry for Se Ra. ALMOST. and then she puts on that stupid innocent-looking face and tries to impress that silly ahjumma who doesn't even have much influence on YG's choices UGH what a witch
since this drama is making records on KBS, Soompi publishes its progress along with the other mainstream dramas.…
well there are definitely more kdrama watchers here compared to last year, but I think even this drama's plot and pacing are good hooks. I just hope the rating doesn't fall because people aren't used to this style of drama and expect it to be like the weekday ones
