I loooove jasmine tea. And jasmine-green tea. And green tea, and earl grey, and any kind of herbal tea. I'm not to crazy about fruit tea or black tea, except for sweet iced tea in the summer. What do you like?

The ginko trees by school are yellow, and the Japanese maples are just starting to tinge. I can't wait til everything is colorful!

Mm, there are some really bad public schools in the US as well, but at your average public school the misbehavior is usually limited to one or a few kids, and the teachers can discipline those students, and there are consequences like suspension if the student continues. In Korean high schools, they used to use corporal punishment//some schools still use it even though it's technically illegal now, but there is no concept of getting sent to the Principal (I guess in the UK, the headmaster?)'s office or detention or suspension. Teachers basically have yelling and public humiliation at their disposal, but kids can ignore that pretty well by the time they get to high school.

Ahaha, yes dramas can be an excuse! but they can also really help serious study. I'm trying to study off of a transcript of a drama right now.

Oh, I saw Werewolf Boy on TV a few weeks ago! It was so sad T.T Too sad. Thanks for the other recs, though~ Was “King of Dramas” worth it? I think it’s on my ptw list…I’m not sure anymore.

I’ve been wanting to watch Poppy Hill for a while now! It looks really sweet. I also love Ghibli films. Do you have a favorite? I’m sad that Miyazaki finally retired. The studio might keep producing some good films, but I’m not as impressed by the ones his son directed.

Anego isn't that amazing of a drama. It's just the only other thing with Jin in it that I've seen. I haven't seen too much of that genre either (although I guess Sore wa Totsuzen kinda falls into that category). I tried to watch Gokusen towards the beginning of my drama history and it was a little too ridiculous for me at that point, but I might like it if I try it again now. Let me know how it is!

Oh, is Erika in Code Blue? Really?? Then I have to watch it! Ah, Buzzer Beat has the best chemistry I've seen in a Jdrama possibly. And a wonderful ending.

Yes, werewolf boy was so sad...I watched it on TV over the holidays so I didn't have subtitles, but I could understand so much of the story through the acting alone, I was impressed. Everyone in the room with me was crying during that scene TT.TT So sad....

I know, right? I didn't even know who he was when I watched it, and then was surprised when I later realized it was him. What's your favorite song from the OST? I really Genki. Both versions, but the one where he sings it really heartbroken at the very end gets me every time.

I haven't seen Code Blue yet, cause it's not my genre, but I'm getting around to it. OMG, Nakatsu-Akira crossover? That is brilliant! I like some of his music, but I'm kind of picky about pop music.

I haven't quite finished Summer Nude. It's maybe a little slow, but I don't mind slice of life stories. And I love Erika Toda as much as I love Yamapi, and I get to see them together. Together with Karina. So that quite makes up for anything else. And the side plots are pretty good, which often makes or breaks a drama for me.

I love Nobuta; Kurosagi, Ending Planner, and Sore wa Totsuzen Arashi no Youni are pretty good; Buzzer Beat might be my favorite.

Yesss! I'm halfway done writing an article about Jdrama mothers. I should do Kdrama grandmothers after that. The grandma in Full House is also pretty awesome, although her awesome is under the surface a bit more.
