meanwhile other people are still raving over Start-up but I'm like meh/whatever.. I'm way more interested in the love triangle here, feels like I'm the only one who's more excited about these unpopular low rated dramas instead??
I kept noticing low rated reviews on the front page of MDL, most of these accounts are new with no profile pic and only have Start Up in their list. But I guess it's not a surprise since it also happened with TKEM.
So for me it's far far far better than goblin, IONTBO, hotel del lona, korean Odyssey
I liked A Korean Odyssey the most because of the ghost stories/bromance/zombie + P.K friendship but couldn't get into the hype over HDL & IONTBO.. coincidentally I liked Jo Bo Ah and Oh Yeon Seo's acting more when they got possessed by the villains. The only scenes I actually found sad was with Lee Rang/Lee Yeon's messages to each other, those other crying scenes felt kinda cheesy/staged to me.
what's the point of MDL changing the rating system when there's still people making new accounts to rate/review this drama? this is the third Kim Seon Ho drama I found meh (besides You Drive Me Crazy & Eulachacha Waikiki 2)
I like makjangs but am not hooked to this yet (ep 7) guess I'm more into over the top/soap opera type of makjangs while this one resembles more of a Secret Boutique vibe which I found meh.
This rating system is so annoying. It’s making it so inaccurate. Now some really good dramas are rated wayyy…
it's funny I see the opposite for lower rated dramas, where they got a bit higher. Ratings don't matter for me since I enjoy some low rated stuff in the 7s meanwhile finding highly rated/popular ones meh... but to quote someone else from another comment section that I agree with: "That's why you can't rely on the ratings alone to find a good drama, trust your instincts, not the rating!"
Honestly even though season 1 ending was a big cliffhanger I feel like they don't really need season 2 because…
Agreed, I remember when the first episode of The Gifted grabbed my attention but this one feels boring..? sometimes a 2nd season doesn't give off the same vibe/excitement as the original series (like what I've noticed with some other shows)
came back to this article after finally watching Gu Family Book & The Scholar Who Walks the Night this year, ended up loving Choi Jin Hyuk & Lee Soo Hyuk's roles, they stole the show there. Both of them looked sexy in their demon/vampire forms! Choi Jin Hyuk's character was also very memorable in Zombie Detective this year :D
I've only watched him in Born Again but was impressed after seeing him in The Scholar Who Walks the Night, he stole the show there. He looked stunning as a vampire especially with his unique facial features... now I finally see why fan girls are raving about him xD
what I don't get is why the FL falls in a coma for a few years but her family didn't notify her boss about it? Or he calling her to see what happened to her why she disappeared from work? I like the main leads romance but at the same time I feel bad for Min Young/Soo Hyun that they don't end up together. There's also a slow/ballad song by a male artist that plays sometimes but I don't see any OST for this drama, Shazam doesn't work on it either??
Does anyone know the name of the Violin music played in this drama. I want to know so badly, but I can't seem…
looks like they didn't release the BGM OST for this drama yet. Not all k-dramas release their music though so just gotta keep waiting if they do ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I LOVEEE this drama. I am so wrapped into it. However There is times I am debating on dropping it, such as now.…
I kinda agree about the FL, it must be the way her character written since I liked her acting better in other dramas like Come! Jang Bo Ri, Spring Turns to Spring, The Promise.. heard she was good in My Father is Strange too but I only watched the 1st episode. imo this drama did feel too basic for me, could've had more potential and villain's motives/backstories were weak.
haven't watched him before but I love his character Jung Min in Phoenix 2020 <3 I find him more loveable/funnier than Eric Mun in the original 2004 version. Seo Ha Joon is one of the most handsome actors I've ever seen, it's a shame he's only in these obscure daily dramas no one really watches...
but even a 7 feels generous for this drama lol... I actually enjoy some low budget daily dramas with unknown actors over this.
I feel like that too when I watch some airing daily dramas...
