Uhh hello the ratings ? Is it not good? I wanted to watch it today
MDL ratings are unreliable, most dramas decreased in ratings anyways. If I gotta be honest I still liked this writer's previous dramas The Last Empress & Come! Jang Bo Ri better.
Okay -- I'm like totally rooting for Jung Min. So far he's my favorite character. Consistent and determined with…
I think most of us are rooting for Jung Min lol I mean who wouldn't fall for a sweet handsome guy like him.. I love Seo Ha Joon's portrayal of Jung Min way more than Eric Mun in the original drama (am at ep 12 of that one right now)
I'm not hating on itafter watching it I didn't see the reason why people love it so much, I actually never wanted…
I feel the same.. this was the first c-drama I watched since I wanted to see why everyone was raving about this drama. It was good enough for a 1 time watch but I didn't get obsessed with it like everyone else, except for the OP/ED songs which I still like listening to.
I tried to like this show for Seo Ye Ji bc I love her sm, but I am in the minority as I did not care too much…
Same, I liked her in Save Me, not really a big fan of Kim Soo Hyun but also couldn't get into the first few eps of this. Although these rating fan wars are hilarious and kinda makes me want to finish this drama to see what the hype is all about.
If i had to choose the most underrated drama in this website it will be this lol 7.2??? are you joking with me?…
haven't watched this but at least Yoon Sang Hyun looks more natural looking than Lee Jong Suk even though I started watching/liking both of them from Secret Garden and I Hear Your Voice. Older dramas seem to be rated lower than newer ones on MDL.
have only watched the first few eps but already feel like cringing at the script/FL. However I will continue to watch this since I like the main leads. Wtf Choi Yeong slashes that guy's throat just so Eun Soo can prove that she can heal someone??
started watching this for Kang Eun Tak since I'm also watching him in A Man in a Veil and Hong Soo Ah in Phoenix 2020 at the same time. The first 20-30 eps were meh until Emily shows up and Ga Young finds out the truth about Se Na/Jung Han's relationship. I like that OST song "Miss you so much" Lee Min Hyuk. They released the BGM OST for this and A Place in the Sun earlier this year but too bad I can't find/listen to it anywhere.
Hwang In Yeop looks like a mix of Ahn Jae Hyun and Lee Joon Gi. That throwing the bag at the pervert scene reminded me of Zombie Detective when the FL spins in a similar way with the helmet. + Goblin reference with Hush - Lasse Lindh song!
finally someone with similar brain cells. i was wondering why he didn't look like Ahn Jae Hyun to anyone else!
just saw him now in True Beauty (well actually he was in The Tale of Nokdu but I don't remember him there) yeah he looks like a mix of Ahn Jae Hyun and Lee Joon Gi!
the start didn't captured my attention hhmm for now I'm more interested on So Hoo and Yeo Joo's scenes E2
same.. the first 2 eps didn't really grab my attention compared to TWOTM/My Dangerous Wife which had more makjang/thriller to make me put those on hold to binge them. I just hope this isn't another boring one like Graceful Friends again -_-
it's getting more exciting now at the end of ep 60 damn I'm hooked to this and Phoenix 2020, meanwhile regular kdramas are boring for me... I liked both dramas more after the ep 20+ time skips. I can't wait for the showdown between Yoo Ra VS. Hwa Yeon 'cause that's gonna be entertaining to watch lol
You know how there are good horror movies that are scary and make you be on the edge of your seat until the end?…
yeah this drama also gave me TBOH vibes but I think this one actually had more fantasy elements, the OSTs were the best thing about that drama lol. I would like deep/well written dramas too but sometimes it doesn't matter as long as I find them entertaining, like with makjang dramas which I get addicted to even though they're cliche with over the top villains xD TOTNT was an average drama for me, I wasn't a huge fan girl of LDW and didn't have any high expectations for it compared to TKEM which was more of a disappointment to me.
oddly the only 2 k-dramas (16 eps) I actually enjoyed this year were of similar themes - TWOTM & My Dangerous Wife.. I wonder if I will like this one too.
I love that OST "Love For You" Shin Jae Hong, the feels I get while listening to it... it's so good/underrated and better than whatever mainstream kpop songs nowadays! It kinda reminds me of Michael Learns to Rock (that rock ballad vibe with the English lyrics) too bad I can't find any other songs by this artist. They added a piano melody to the "instrumental" version of this song which sounds nice but I also want to listen to the instrumental track without the piano, too bad they don't release that as separate tracks. This song is the only one that’s aged well in comparison to the other tracks tbh, the melody and singer’s voice is nice/gives a nostalgic feeling even though the chorus lyrics are repetitive but I don’t get bored listening to it.
if you’re thinking of starting this drama, skip the first 4-5 minutes of ep 1 bc there’s a big spoiler :D
why skip when the writer/director intended for this scene to be shown first? I've seen a few other similar type of scenes in other dramas shown right in the beginning too which are used as the focal point of the story but in here with all the annoying/evil characters around we can already see it coming anyways
