It is definitely worth watching if you enjoy rom-coms/fantasy stories.
yeah I liked the historical parts but then the present scenes bored me lol... this screenwriter's dramas are a hit or miss for me, I also couldn't get into the hype over Crash Landing on You but loved The Legend of the Blue Sea (it drew me in from the first episode, but my only complaint about it is the draggy last episode)

lol I gave up with the first few eps many years ago but then I picked it up again last year when I saw the Thai remake (I got into lakorns last year so I decided to watch both at the same time) I still think this one is boring overall, even though there were some decent parts and this could've been shorter # of episodes?
I guess so. It's a crime drama so it's not really happy nor sad. You should know however that it's open so you…
I loved the 1st season but season 2 wasn't as fun or emotional compared to this one... it felt more like a crime drama than law/investigation. I missed seeing Lee Yi Kyung's comic relief in it :(
I am! This is the only airing drama I looking forward to everyday lmao meanwhile I have a hard time getting into…
no, I didn't watch it. unpopular opinion but I prefer watching makjang over slice of life dramas xD I'm also watching an older daily drama Ugly Alert but there isn't really a "I need to watch the next episode!" feeling that I get compared to watching these cliche makjang plots/characters...
The watchlist looks much better now compared to when I saw it yesterday! I couldn't see the info in every other title since the text was white xD But I'm more used to the original site's colours so I'm still sticking with that most of the time. I usually just like to lower the screen's brightness with "reading/eye comfort" mode on.
O_o Anyone still watching? I can't seem to look away from this train wreck
I am! This is the only airing drama I looking forward to everyday lmao meanwhile I have a hard time getting into most 2019-2020 k-dramas... I'm surprised by how much I've enjoyed 5 daily dramas so far, love the excitement of watching makjangs, those cliffhangers at the end of every episode are killing me 'cause I'm dying to watch the next episode xD
I watch both jdramas and kdramas, so i checked your list to see if i could recommend you jdrama that I think you…
by makjang I mean stuff like the cliche birth secrets/swaps, villains, angst, revenge, cliffhangers... lol I get addicted to those! Even the first lakorn I tried last year (Hua Jai Sila) gave me that vibe, then I got hooked to lakorns. I am actually feeling bored of airing k-dramas though I can't seem to get into most 2019-2020 dramas anymore. Anyways I don't think 3 of those dramas were on my list (I didn't recognize those titles), only the first and last ones? But thanks anyways I'll check those out ^^
i actually really agree with this post and the ending comments, how jdramas do seem to get lots of hate at times…
lol *feels guilty* like that time when I thought Suits j-drama was boring/BGM not as good compared to the Korean version (am comparing the first few eps since I didn't finish the j-drama)... but then again I've enjoyed a few daily makjang dramas which are also "low budget" with cliche plots/characters xD
I have some j-dramas/movies in my PTW list but still haven't watched most of them, mainly because I'm more into the style of k-dramas and lakorns, and I'm more familiar with Korean actors. I don't think J-dramas don't have the makjang genre like with k-dramas & lakorns? lol I only started watching a few j-dramas because of some Korean remakes like Mother, The Smile Has Left Your Eyes, Love in Sadness, etc. but I always ended up liking the remakes more than the original... not really into slice of life dramas/anime - they bore me usually, and the yellow-ish lighting in j-dramas makes me sleepy sometimes xD
I think a lot of us figured that out, but what surprises me more, is that you actually rewatched the first episode.…
yeah it was really a drag ( ͠° ͟ʖ ͡°) I wouldn't want to re-watch the beginning eps lmao it gives me the similar dull feeling of watching a slice of life drama...

I loved watching him in Woman of Dignity!

For now, I'm just interested in watching Song Yoon Ah and Lee Tae Hwan's characters??
at least the OST songs were decent? Yummy Yummy is a catchy song xD
