I HATE HER and I will remain hating her because of her rule in the masterpeice drama Jang Bo Ri is here T_T I…
it's funny she plays the opposite role/character in The Promise where the guy leaves her and her kid to marry someone else. I liked watching her in Spring Turns to Spring too, it was a funny drama! I haven't watched My Father is Strange yet, I'm more addicted to makjang than slice of life lmao
tried watching this on Dramacool but why does the video keep stopping every 10-15 minutes in the episode (standard server) Anyways hopefully this will be good since I couldn't get into most 2019-2020 k-dramas..
I find pete and wan relationship weird they should have been stuck with sad ending and i know People are going…
yeah it was kinda weird for me too, falling in love with her friend's grandpa (who looks exactly like Pete) and crying as if she's been in love with Pian for many years lol I am still confused how/when did that old lady Wan scene happened when she was still young and got to meet him again through the Passbook??
I can't remember the last time I actually cried for a K-drama, the only few for me were Uncontrollably Fond, SKY Castle & The Light in Your Eyes (sort of) Mr. Sunshine and Moon Lovers was more of a frustrating ending for me so I couldn't cry for them ( ͠° ͟ʖ ͡°) (added A Thousand Days Promise & Black Knight) last night, unexpectedly I cried for the last few episodes of Ruk Laek Pop...
The OST is very melodic, I really love listening to the opening title of this lakorn. I haven't been watching…
yep it is.. the OP theme made me cry in the last few episodes and I haven't cried at any drama for a while now I think many lakorn OSTs sound melodic (from the ones I've seen so far) too bad they're underrated internationally compared to k-drama OSTs
I finished it now, it was entertaining overall and the last few eps made me feel emotional T_T I actually enjoyed this one more than Bpoop Phaeh Saniwaat (which I still haven't finished yet) wish there'd be a season 2 for this but I doubt it..
- idk why I laughed at that scene in ep 20 when Pete was like "I can't fall in love with my great-grandma" - LOL @ that scene with the 3 villains fighting over the Passbook, that was one of the most entertaining scenes I've seen in this drama xD I'm curious about their reactions if they really did go to 2020. So if only 1 person can travel at a time, was that actually the real reason why they couldn't go back to their own world when they tried to go back into the book at the same time, not just because the book was ripped? - the last few episodes made me cry whenever they played some emotional BGM & the opening theme T_T - I have mixed feelings about Pete/Wan in the end.. I assume she will be able to travel back and forth with her own Passbook (?) but what about their future together? It feels weird if he wants to marry her and have kids. I think it would've felt more meaningful/realistic if they stuck with that sad ending when she was an old lady and met him again when he was still a kid. I am confused how did that scene happen in the first place if she traveled to the future and met him again anyways before she became an old lady, that scene seemed like she never saw him again until he was a kid. Would she have married someone else if she never got to meet him (his adult self) again?
Or you know like W Two worlds. That was one over hyped thrash
Same here, I also didn't watch much in 2016 too, I only started watching more k-dramas online since 2017. I think I only watched W and Uncontrollably Fond back then since they were airing at the same time? I was also put off by the hype over Goblin and DOTS, only watched them years later. I did enjoy some parts of both of them but Goblin's characters crying over past lives in the second half of the show got annoying and DOTS could've ended at ep 12, the last 4 eps felt like filler.
Many popular/hyped dramas feel meh to me since last year, I've liked some popular dramas from previous years but I find it harder to get into most 2019-2020 k-dramas meanwhile enjoying some unpopular/lesser known ones like daily makjang dramas that no one really cares about. I tried The Untamed to see what the hype was about but I didn't get obsessed with it after completing it.. tried Hospital Playlist too but it bored me since I'm not really into slice of life dramas/anime. HDL was forgettable I loved A Korean Odyssey over that drama. I couldn't get into CLOY too, this screenwriter's dramas are a hit or miss for me since I was bored of YWCFTS but loved LOTBS. The only hyped dramas I liked this year were The World of the Married and Kingdom season 2. I stopped trying to keep up with ongoing dramas now, I actually find some older dramas more enjoyable than newer ones.
"The Promise" was far better than what I expected. ;-)
I am watching Come! Jang Bo Ri, and Lee Yoo Ri is playing the opposite role of The Promise, she is the one who leaves the guy and her kid in this drama. This is another addicting drama from the writer of The Last Empress ;) the side couple is hilarious too!
The rating is going lower and lower... Is it still worth the time?
I've got 10 eps left to watch but I like this so far. Unpopular opinion but I'm enjoying this more than the highly rated "Bpoop Phaeh Saniwaat" which I still haven't finished that either
I liked watching her in Spring Turns to Spring too, it was a funny drama!

I thought it would be ending this week..
