apparently the director of this drama also directed A Dream within A Dream. Now I get why the writing and pacing are so compact and good!

i think it's because he is married so he took that 'no kissing' principle.

i don't see it as a problem though. after watching soooooo many dramas I realized even if the leads are touchy feely but they can't act, then the chemistry is non-existent.

to me the drama is more interesting around ep 17 when the conflict was FL's dilemma on getting married or not

i've just got into ep 15 and the only sign he could turn evil is drama god's fate for second male lead characters like him lol
hoping he would break the stereotype

the costume change is a reason for us to see both leads being beautiful and rocking whatever they wear lol

i feel like the leads' romance were put in the backburner ever since the story progressed from Lin'an. YQQ and QM were the only constant.
