to quote sooyoung (while sobbing, really) : yoona you are my pride! as a long time sone, following her works and finally! a project where not only she did well, but the team behind it is also so good, and the responses are good too!
YES! love the ending! Love that they don't shy away from giving audience what we want (and what we deserve too!) love that they don't forget to include the other supporting characters (except gonggil, the armamenter, and king's bodyguard! bzzzz).
what's with the 2025 and time travelling dramas, really? this and 'A Dream within A Dream' are very satisfying time-travel dramas I've watched in a very long time.
i mean... if the male lead says : "she has her family backing her, but you have family backing you too." I would too, swoon immediately and forget the red flag this man had been waving since the first meeting lol
love LOVE how jiyeong concluded the king was dancing with gonggil based on her seeing King's retinue closeby. doing it that way instead of knowing because of this 'love connection' makes the story more grounded.
and yeah, i just paused after first 20 minutes because i'm not ready on what's happening next
watched the teasers and i think i should just waited until the end--- i'm too anxious at the possibility that these people are going to drag the FL down :(
she's always stunning! but there's something with her makeup&hairstyle in some scenes that felt too... idk.. heavy (?) because it doesn't happen all the time, though, i wonder if it might have to do with the story.
ZL is her own stylist for this show, from her interpretation of faking her identity, this is how she wanted her…
yeah that's why i'm thinking it might have to do with the character's progression or something. maybe as she started to shed her lies and living as herself, the hair and makeup will be better or something.
what's with her hairstyle and makeup? they just don't fit her. truly hoping the heavy hair&makeup is also a part of the story instead of just poor styling choice :(
