Both series include time travel; the settings are mostly in school - the protagonists being teenagers. In both series, the protagonists accidentally go back in time; for Lovely Runner, it’s to prevent an event, and in Twinkling Watermelon, it’s to learn something and make sure time stays the same.

watching individual circumstances kept making me think of to my star s2! similar plotline in terms of there being an ex who got ghosted and goes to find the other one to convince him to come back. difference is that in the case of TMS, the ex went to find him get back together with him while in IC the ex wants to make a movie with his ex's story. if you liked TMS s2 you would love IC, in my opinion.

This is the first season to this one and it is very much as interesting as the second season

The plot of Lovely Runner revolves around preventing Sunjae's death by time travelling. Similarly, the plot of Somehow 18 revolves around preventing Na Bi's suicide by time travelling.
