Same melancholic mood. In both shows it's portrayed how lonely and miserable the leads live/feel on a daily basis until they meet each other.

«Noriko's Dinner Table» is the sequel to «Suicide Club». It is related, but it does not develop the first movie's plot though; it is more focused on the psychological message the director wanted to rely with the «Suicide Club».

The main characters connect over and because of a movie script, as at least one of the characters is a screenwriter. These stories are also realised, theres a movie within a movie structure. Romantic tension comes up. The characters also have to care for family and partners, which prevents some of the romance from blossoming..
Both films appear to be simple romcoms but theres a deeper layer to them. They genuinely made me cry like woah....

Both gender change plots that explore how the change effects the romantic life of the main characters.

Very similar genres n storyline where ML isnt loved by anyone much, humiliated, suffered, ridiculed n in the end snapped n become a pathetic loser who keeps on destroying other people lives.

Same plotline with mystery,serial killing n romance where FL is suspicious of ML of being a serial killer.

Both very good crime/thriller shows with great story, plot twists and acting. If you like these kinds of shows, you will like Trinity of Shadows.

Main character:
Extraordinary Attorney Woo (EAW) is about autism and the lead character Attorney Woo has savant syndrome and became a top lawyer.
The main characters in Liaison are doctors who have autism and how they help children with the same syndromes.

Theme:
Both dramas teach the viewers about the many different kind of autism and remind people to understand it better in everyday lives.
The many characters in Liaison tell us the struggles of the family of such children and the drama shares the POV they can take to understand their children from a different angle. This is also reflected in EAW via the father of Attorney Woo.

If you're looking for romance tragedy...
-ML in both dramas took advantage of their FL, then take over the others' tribe/country and killed her loved ones and people.
-They also uses other women to further their ambition.
-Yep, both MLs are possessive jerks.
-Both FLs because of duty and responsibility to save their people, refuses to be with ML and rather sacrifice themselves.
