A japanese drama with a different vibe but same setting! Without trying to spoil too much of the plot, similar to police university it has its own balance of funny moments and dramatic moments! I would say the main difference is that it has alot more characters and focues on some issues outside the main character (but are still relavent to the main characters development). For example a female police officer dealing with her feelings about the prejiduces she experienced as a women in the police force. There is also another character that deals with turning a new leaf (was a yankee before) after getting his friend involved in a crime he commited in the past. All in all, lots of intresting sub plots and exploration into why these characters chose to be police officers and wanted to go to school for it! Would recommend if you need more police dramas to watch after Police Universoty is done!

[Minor spoiler] Both couples find comfort with each other in a special way. Both ML have a dark history of their childhood regarding their mom and both FL have their own psychological issue. Wonderful cinematography in both dramas, piano elements, great OSTs and a lot of green sceneries. You will find both of the dramas appreciate sound a lot. Both are the types of dramas you will enjoy watching while drinking coffee on raining days.

Both explored married woman’s mind, and showed that no one should limit her on taking other roles other than being a wife or mother. They’ve tackled realistic problems many wives are experiencing, and both have deep subjects and dark tone. Red is focused on one story, while Saka no Tochuu no Ie has multiple characters intertwined by one story.

Both are historical dramas.
The female lead pretends to be a eunuch (disguised herself as a man).

The female leads are both the same which is Ling Mei Shi and also its similar that the female lead has a special power or some supernatural power.

Not NIS agents but they're from cyber crime unit. Together they investigate cyber crime and fight against cyber crime/hackers/corruption.

They're both love stories involving people with disabilities. They're also both moving and emotional. They're also made by directors who are very serious and artistic and take chances with their work.

They're both bittersweet love stories about a handsome young man who falls in love with a tsundere girl in a wheelchair. You may cry in both movies.

Okay first of all, this movie is not about doppelganger swap places but it's about a soul who were supposed to crossover were given a second chance in life for a month.

Fl were send back to earth and needs to adapt a new life as a housewife and mom instead of being a top prosecutor. Her soul swap places with the housewife's soul who is currently in coma.

There's alot of chaos and mess happen and it's so hilarious watching fl try to adjust her new life as a wife and mom which she never experience before.

What i like about this movie is although there's a financial restraint, some conflict between husband and wife and their teenage daughter is at the rebellious stage, she try the best as she can and her husband always has her back no matter what.

Same concept of the couple falling in love in the process for filming reality show. Both are sweet in their own way

This drama has a mature relationship, non toxic relationship, communication is the key, trust each other and never give up on each other. This drama also focus on the adults in their mid 30's.
Of course there's a up and down in their life/relationship just like any other kdrama but the different is their relationship is rock solid and instead went for a breakup just like other cliche drama, they brave the storm together and always supported each other.

Both has Allen Ren as main lead. The Destiny of White Snake also has reincarnation/another life theme and great OST.
