Both Brave and Battle Royale are based off manga and novelizations. The biggest point of comparison is that both feature high school casts that are sent to a new location where they must survive or die.

I couldn’t help thinking the 2 dramas are similar in the sense of winning ratio for the good guys!!
Both leads are very smart and their strategic planning leaves you impress!
Bad guys got satisfying endings
Both drama has romance but it’s not their highlight nor important in the plot...still..it’s a cute watch when it’s put in every now and then.

The setting of both shows is in Okinawa. The main female leads have a lot in common too - both are hair stylists and pregnant. The director in Senkotsu (Gori) is also an actor and made an appearance in Tsurukame Josanin, which might explain where he got such inspiration for the movie.

Although both movies have drastically different story lines, they both offer an interesting social commentary on gender in a patriarchal Korean society. Both movies have a (slight) feminist undertone as they zoom in on the female experience of daily life and the struggles that come with it. The theme of mental health functions as a red thread in both stories.

The First Half of My Life and A Wife's Credentials are both dramas with mature couples (mid-30s) involving infidelity / betrayal and divorce. In each series, the 'plot' is about how the main characters deal with the break-down in their relationships and how it affects their lives and their children's lives. The background story of AWC exposes the high pressure on mothers/wives of getting their children into first-rate schools, whereas TFHOML shows the impact on relationships of long-hours spent in a high-pressure business environment (management consultancy). Both series are really well acted and produced.

Takes place near the start of the 80s, romance included, has similar feeling (note that I have watched up to episode 2 so far)

Both are about the difficulties for grandparents to raise their grandchildren, and about love in a family.

They have the same premise, with both FL's turning back into their younger selves and getting a second chance at life.

Same genre, mutants, monsters, zombies..... If dark hole is ur cup of tea then kingdom will too. Although kingdom is waaay better than dark hole in my opinion

both about school but one is set in high school and the other is set in college. about the lives of the players within and without the team

both about basketball team players and their lives. the troubles and difficulties they have juggling school family life and basketball.

The Female Lead in Love and Redemption has a “Glass” Heart which she cannot feel emotions (can’t love or cry) whereas the Male Lead in Miss Crow with Mr Lizard has a Mechanical Heart which he is unable to feel strong emotions (if not he will increase in heart rate and release electricity from touch or even serious, may lead to his death). Watch to see how both fall in love respectively.

While psychopath diary has some comedy and is seemingly not as dark as mouse, in both shows a person has a memory loss when it comes to his deaths.

The one with lost memory thinks he is the killer [tho we don't know if he is or he is not] !!

While Collectors is a movie that centers around a heist (rather than swindling per se) it is similar to The Swindlers in the sense that it is about a group of criminals who strive for a common goal: to get rich (and take revenge). This is your typical action-packed (yet fun) watch.
