Recommendations

Both have a similar feel to it. One is old love (His) and one is unrequited love, but soon find themselves in a complicated relationship of sorts, both stories have good slow pacing and have good cinematography. TCMDOC has a more open ending for the couple, whereas His is definitely a happy ending. Both films close, leaving you with a sense of optimism for the couples. I truly enjoyed both films, I’d definitely say if you liked one then you should give the other a try :) I definitely wasn’t disappointed!

XX is a web drama but it is so well written and produced. I got a huge crush on the main female lead played by Hani <3 :

In both drama, the sincere friendships, love and business lives of middle-aged people are featured. Also, both have multiple couples. Both have a pretty funny plot.

Both have a modern person travelled through time to historical era, and involved in a sweet love story with main guys who are both smart and resourceful.

They're both about main character's time travel. Both of them are effortlessly funny. Both have some Little Mermaid plot how male leads has been tricked by bad girls who pretented to be female leads.

Both drama deal with forbidden relationship that are more than physical one. They can be judge harsly if watched only from a society point of view but we can also sympathize with them if we watch with an understanding mind.

Watch if you're into cute romantic fluff with supportive side characters and relatively little scheming second leads!

both are about an investigation/police trying to catch criminals. brain man has more suspense and violence but both male leads have a tragic past and are trying there best to get over it. also, the male leads start void of emotions and they meet a woman, in brain man its a psychiatrist but in final life its an old flame. memories are involved in both of them, they are a key part of the story.

same male lead but total different story. I think both couple had a good chemistry .Throughout the story the main lead did not to end up together due to some misunderstanding and other stuff

In love script, story in FL dream almost same as ashes of love's story when jin mi and xu feng through trial in mortal realm.
