They both deals with incurable diseases, main leads are in their teenages years and athletes. You follow them through their journeys and how the their life changes, but also how it affects people around them. Both are based on true storys, that are sad yet touching stories.

Both have conspiracies and corruption. Both have an unlikely group of people working together. While Confession concentrates more on the lawyer/prosecutor side, Falsify concentrates on the side of reporters. Both ML have a personal reason for investigating their cases.

Both have tough martial artist girls as the main lead. Both are in a school setting with a bit of romance too.

Both are about girls informally trained in martial arts. Both girls enter a competition after gaining a real master, who also happens to be their love interest.

however, Tientsin mystic has supernatural elements in it, and imo the mysteries are more interesting because of that. both dramas have lots of smaller mysteries and a bigger conspiracy behind the events.

Tientsin Mystic is a bit of a darker drama though.

This drama is also a remake of the same Japanese drama so the plotline should be pretty similar. The premise of both is about a teacher who takes one of her students away from an abusive household.

Both have one of the leads wanting revenge because of a tragic event of a relative in the past.

Both have the same producers and if you enjoy their storytelling as well as their sense of humor, you'll for sure enjoy watching Reply 1988 and get involved with the lives of the families in the neighborhood just like you can get involved with the stories of doctors in the hospital.

The movie His - What Is love (2020) is the continue of His - I Didn't Think I Would Fall In Love (2019) Drama

In both dramas, a divorced couple met each other again in the same hospital as colleagues. Big White Duel focused more on the power struggle in the Hospital and the two departments under the two main leads, Dr. Yeung (Neurology Department) and Dr. Tong (Cardiology Department). However, it also include scenes in the Emergency (A&E) Department which Emergency Couple is more focused on as well. Both have romance and even love triangle.

I think they have a similar genre, the main characters are not the same. One is human and the other one isn't.

- They just remind me of each other, plus the relationship between the two leads are quite similar

I feel like the relashionship dynamic between the female lead and male lead are very very similar! Plus, both are fantasy xianxia stories with lots of romance. The male lead in both is seemingly cold hearted, very powerful and respected and at first doesn’t recognize he is in love but then falls in love with the cute, naive girl that always follows him (who eventually grows into a still cute but more fearless woman because of repeated traumatic experiences). The way the male character shows their love in the beginning is also very similar: acting very jealous, helping her without her knowing, pretending to be cruel sometimes but only showing his affectionate side when near her and ultimately being very devoted and hopelessly in love with them. I think if you really loved the relashionship between Dong Hua and Feng Jiu and are looking for something with a similar romance dynamic, go for this one!!
