A famous, talented, and well-loved writer enrolls in the academy in his own right and without taking the entrance exam. Unexpectedly, this good-looking, gifted young man turns out to be a girl, and many men eventually fall for her.

Both are novels from the same author. There are some similarities in the themes, like murder and deep affection of the male lead. Both are great and unforgettable, although the genre is thriller, both could make the viewers cry.

Games of death. Alice in Borderland has better games that are more cerebral in nature. It also has a better ending! Squid Game is far simpler but has better acting and story.

Similar competition format. Squid game is much more character-based and gory. Liar game is more of a traditional k-drama but has better games.

Because of You has drama, intrigue, and fight scenes similar to Trapped, it is much shorter and includes three separate couples, which does make the show feel rushed, but it's still a fun watch.
