Both contain characters cursed with immortality. The gods have physical incarnations (Or one at least in Long For U 2). There is a "reaper-like" character in both dramas as well as a goblin character (They're both the same person in Long For U 2). Overall, both similarly enjoyable!

Both dramas are about a man and a woman living together and navigating the relationship that forms from proximity. I prefer Because this is My First Life, but Personal Taste is worth watching

Though Train to Busan is modern day, instead of period, it is IMO the best zombie movie of all time. They are different thematically, but both are excellent works in the zombie genre out of South Korea.

Jiang zhi shu and yuan xiang xin in this drama have more chemistry and their chemistry is one of the best in Asian Drama. And this drama is part 1. If u want to watch their continution about their life after get married, then watch "They Kiss Again".

The theme is enduring love. Chris Wu acting is superb and the story is very touching. Spoiler though, go to you tube for alternative ending.

Luckily in the series, they opt to give a better ending, than movies.

Lee SooHyuk is also a vampire in this story. Where Vampire idol is a comedy, Scholar is a darker heavier program that should be watched by all who love Vampires.
