During Hormones Season 2, one of the storylines tells about how someone creates a fake account on social media to pass themselves off as someone who is really popular at high school in order to feel how is to get affection and popularity. This character feels unwanted, envious and lonely and tried to escape off their problems doing this kind of thing on the Internet.

In The Comments, we found a similar idea. Again, it tries to make the audience see why someone should do something like that and what are the consequences for the victim and culprit.

In regard to general ideas, I shouldn't say the Hormones' trilogy is so focused on bullying/cyberbully as The Comments, but definitely are topics touched, to a greater or lesser extent, in all the seasons, apart from another sensible topics like sex, abortion, drugs, sexuality...

Both are series really worthy to see just because the messages they want to share

Pink dads documentary is about how chinese fathers came to terms with their child being queer and how their lives are similarly in Mama rainbow the documentary is exploring how the mothers support their queer children and their relationship

The ML’s and his older brother/ cousin’s views on relationship versus career success and how they initially deal with it I are eating exactly the same set up as the brothers in The Heirs!

Smart main lead has hardship in childhood and is in care of another family. Although the other family is very good to ML, he/she continues to feel like outsider. However, ML finds his/her place in high school because the friends he/she makes.

Both stories are about autistic people. These two shows revolve around how autistic people are trying hard to live a normal life in society.

Take care of us, Captain is the similar troop show related to aviation academy.
The male lead is a talented pilot and female lead is trying hard to follow her dreams. Both of them are related due to one accident in the past.
This show revolve around journey to follow dreams, passion for flying, life and romance.

Nine kilometres of love is also a show based on aviation club. Male and Female lead both try hard to get into the best of aviation academy. Their journey to become pilot, Chasing dreams and perusing love along the way.

Both have very similar vibes and contexts. I especially like traveler as compared to various other shows like this as it really feels unscripted

This is a alternative adoption of same story with only difference in character being boyfriend in this adaptation instead of a girlfriend.

Both deal with complicated and delicate issues in school from the teachers' perspective. No frills and unnecessary gimmicks, just gritty realism and smart narratives.

Both feature inside jokes, a lot of reference, parody, and over the top comedy. Pick Gintama if you love action or Yabe Kenzo if you like mystery.
