Osamu Dazai's literary work "No Longer Human" has received quite a few adaptations. This film is about the women in his life. In fact, the Japanese subtitle for Ninagawa’s film is ‘Osamu Dazai and three women.’

Both are about biographical films about the wife of famous artists. In Villon's wife is a writer and in Tokyo Biyori is Nobuyoshi Araki, Japan's leading photographer.

Korean Zom-Com. Starts out as one thing and becomes something else in the 2nd half. But it is a comedy through and through.

-if you're into k-dramas, HDL also has a fantasy vibe that involves magic and different mystical creatures/characters!!
-both have cute cp couples to ship for sure + awesome side kick characters
-fits the fantasy vibe where past history has a bunch of stuff

-if you're into trying a c-drama it's similar to MPUB in those fantasy vibes
-there's a magical adventure and characters that possess magic in some way and are not actually part of humans
-reincarnation plays a huge role!!
-the plots are super interesting and all the characters really make it interesting!

Similarly, both dramas include a group of people, who are dealing with different problems. Furthermore, both also include LGBTQ+ topics like coming out and dating the same sex.

The story of both movies was prompted by a psychopathic teacher who orchestrated the death of his students.

Both dramas include multiple couples that live in the same building. They both include couples that are in different stages of their relationship. There is also a gay couple included in both.

They have basically the same plot. One disfigured character undergoes plastic surgery from an unknown benefactor, only for her to become a pawn to a grander scheme. She will have to endure the wrath of the people her look alike have wronged, only to win them over coz she has a good character. The look alike will return later when her luck runs out, and chaos ensues.

Not really that related in terms of plot, but they are both dramas are iQiyi originals that deal with mystery, crime and murder, but they both have the same feel and atmosphere as well the same level of suspense and not knowing who you can trust. Also comparable in terms of quality.

If you liked In a Class of Her Own, I really recommend watching The Chang'an Youth! They are very similar. In both, girls dress up as guys and enter a prestigious school. In both, a friendship develops between classmates. They are super similar, so I really recommend it!

The dynamic and relationship progression between the leads in each of these dramas have very similar vibes, so if you like the couple in one, you’ll probably like the couple in the other.
