Both dramas are about the female lead trying to make it as an actress by starting from the bottom. In both dramas, they get help from a veteran actor. In Skip Beat, the main girl uses her past to fuel her ambition, while in Dear Prince, the main girl struggles to overcome her phobia. Dear Prince is more of a supernatural drama, while Skip Beat can be considered an idol drama.

Both these dramas center on spunky and sharp-tongued young girls. We also see their family dynamics and friendships.

One gets a feeling of melancholia while watching these girls going through first love and navigating through their youth during a time that's long gone.

Similar premise

Has a similar feel as it is written by Taeko Asano who wrote the screenplay for Last Friends. Deals with darker aspects of love. Opening is also sung by Utada Hikaru. If you liked one you'll probably enjoy the other.

Not much similarity but in both dramas the lead girl is their class monitor and tries to solve her classmates' problems with the help of the male lead.

Similar plots, kinda. They both take place in shady environments that are difficult to escape from. A crazy good plot, and super suspenful, like save me.

They have similar vibes. 2weeks is an amazing thriller that gets you very emotional. If you enjoy action, that is not mindless, definitely worth a shot!

Both dramas are set in the past. Both dramas give out the same kind of vibe even though Reply 1988 is set in urban Seoul and Girls Generation 1979 is set in rural Daegu. Both dramas have lovable characters who you will get attached to :)

Although these are two totally different plots, the breathtaking aesthetics and visuals seem similar to me in both.

There are many similarities between the shows, ie:
-Grumpy male lead with a heart of gold hidden under protective layers of absolute douchiness
- Rich to poor female lead with a smile that's brighter than the sun
- The better guy overall second lead (at least before the male lead softens)
- and many more pre-2015 kdrama tropes.

Both are Kdramas where one of the protagonists has foresight: In Another Miss Oh, the hero has deja-vu (Visions/flashbacks about something that is about to happen in short notice) and in WYWS, the heroine has Prophetic Dreams (Dreams about the near future or distant). Both have romance inside a beautiful plot, great actors and soundtrack.

It's same kind of movie, with the same vibe and kind of character. Also spies from North Korea in the south

Both are remakes of popular Hollywood investigative/crime TV series; Cold Case follows the plotlines more closely, although stories are fitted to a Japanese context.

Written by the same screenwriter, they both share an well-paced, well-written script with incredibly witty dialog, lovable average-yet-quirky characters, and a delightfully awkward romance that blooms into something rather adorable.
