Another match with very similar plots. Autumn’s Concerto being the older Taiwanese classic romance about a couple who fell in love as teens. ML is from a rich family while FL is basically a hardworking orphaned who often get bullied with ML often step in to protect her. An incident happened that lead to a misunderstanding that drove the couple apart, then they eventually meet again years later as adults.

Both feature intangible cultural heritage as a large part of the drama premise; a Tibetan setting and equestrian skills in The City of Sunlight and Xuan paper in Zhong Mo Yuan. Both also feature veteran actors, cinematic natural landscapes, and great cinematography.

Under the Grand Feast | Shengyan Zhi Xia | ???? (04/22/2026), feito também pelo Liang Siwei.

Both series' main characters have look-alikes, ends up exchanging places and identities. Also, both main characters have opposite personalities, one has a strong formidable strength in fights and leads an army/gang, and the other is either bullied, inexperienced or not cut out for a fight.
