Both movies center two high school students using an "exchange diary" (koukan nikki) and begin with the protagonists having an unrequited love towards their somewhat cold love interest, though the genders are reversed. Both movies also feature some kind of love triangle. The way each movie plays out and ends is quite different, but they both give a similar fluffy, heart-warming feeling. If you enjoyed one you will certainly like the other.

…BUT if you liked the supporting grumpy doctor this drama has him as a main lead

- he is devoted to the fl
- gets angry when people get hurt

- can’t express his feelings

If you like dramas which like to delve into the strange, weird and wonderful lives of humans, mixed with some murders, then both Under The Skin and The Journey Across the Night will be highly recommended. Both are headed with leads with good chemistry and side kicks. Journey Across the Night is under appreciated and is one of the best out there, it too possibly has a second season planned.

As I watched Parole Examiner Lee I thought of One Dollar Lawyer. Both are crime, law dramas with some humor here and there. Both have smart male leads. Neither had a romance story line nor was one needed. So if you liked the one you may like the other.

History 3 trapped is less intense and more comedic, however, there are definitely similarities between the two. Both have one character that is quite firm with their beliefs and morals who falls in love with someone who challenges these morals. Also in both shows there is a heavy presence of crime and police officer main characters.

Very similar concept, both dramas have an experienced idol manger who gets betrayed by the company they helped build. In entertainer the ML makes a band whilst the FL in Namib has only one individual talent so far. The ML in entertainer also has a romantic interest (the manager of the new group he's making). Both the leads mentor a struggling young trainee into becoming a star, the entertainer also has a lot more bromance

Leads interact through messages (letters/emails) rather than meeting in person for the majority of these films. Female leads both navigate feelings for other in-person relationships while contacting male leads.

Both kdramas are historical and have a love triangle where two of the guys love the same girl (not really but similar) both the Fl’s seek revenge. They both give off the same vibe for me.

Ryeoun seems playing similar character, like dealing with deaf character and musical aspiration. His interaction with his mom at this drama reminds me of his interaction with his dad in Twinkling Watermelon. His interaction with the other Jinwoo reminds me of his interaction with Yoon Chungah. But the most important is Ryeoun always have great chemistry with his fellow casts either male or female. However, Namib, along with Twinkling Watermelon and 18 Again shows Ryeoun's strong bromance chemistry with his fellow male actor
